Leaving in a week....6/22
Leaving in a week....6/22
So I have been reading the boards here for awhile, and now that our trip is a week away, testing my conclusions. 1-sounds like Voyagers is a popular choice lately , with consistently good quality and good prices 2-Grey Area also sounds consistently good...I think what am seeking is an 'up' sativa that will leave me mobile and curious for walking around and not couch locked somewhere..Last question: for a cool vibe/atmosphere, the pics online of Abraxas look really funky and fun, but I dont see many people talking about it?
Any comments on any of the above greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum.
What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.
If this is a first trip, check out How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.
Yes, Voyagers does have a well deserved good reputation.
Anything with haze in the name is a sativa cross usually.
Check out the CoffeeshopMenus link in my signature and look for hazes. Some menus have
listed what each strain is.
There are two Abraxas's. the original at Jonge Roelensteeg 12-14 is my pick.
Enjoy

Love Amnesia for the drinks, the vibe, the outdoor benches. Weed usually good but not as much back in March (its a Barney's shop). I often buy at grea area and then go around the corner to Amnesia to chill (still buying 1g and a drink there of course)
In my opinion Paradox is a must visit as well.

Everyone has there preferences, but me I like to chill in 420, you can take food in and drinks are cheap and they let you smoke your own in there. Lovely people. Also Hill Street on the Market is a cosy place to chill.

Yup 420/deKuil is another great choice.

I like Abraxas. Last time I was in the dam it was pretty much opposite my hotel so it was almost always my first and last stop of the day. It has a really funky feel with cool mosaics on the wall. The gear was decent but not amazing. It is definitely worth a look.
One of my fav's is Coffeeshop Little. It is a bit out of the way but when I have been the gear has always been spot on, you can chill right out in there and they never seem to be in a hurry to move you on.

Is that the place downstairs almost next to Mellow Yellow? I found it to be a bit claustraphobic in there but the free wifi was spot on and they were pretty relaxed after I'd bought some weed.
How much did you produce?

Yea that's the one. To be fair when I have been in there I have always been the first one in and there was ony ever a few ppl at a time. If I remember correctly they have a very comfy couch in there that you can sink right into. Beware the ramp up to the exit though. I was so high once I didn't notice it and almost fell flat on my face!

"Little" is very comfy and cosy - and good prices too 5 for a gram of Afghan and (I think) 8 for a gram of morning breeze. Nice place -(much nicer than Mellow Yellow which gets too hot IMHO)

If you have an Android phone, I have made an app which lists EVERY coffeeshop, smartshop, headshop, growhop & smoke-friendly bar in the 'Dam.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... IwNzMiXQ..
From a personal angle, Abraxas (the main one) is a nicely designed coffeeshop, and a good place to visit & chill-out in while in Amsterdam, but I would recommend buying your weed/hash elsewhere as the prices in Abraxas are quite steep!
Enjoy
