I used to be a member there many years ago and long before I joined here. And to be honest it was not to bad a place back then. Sure, it had the idiots back then to but it also had a hell of a lot of decent members to. But as all the idiots started to ruin the place and have a go and an attitude with a lot of the more better behaved members for seemingly no other reason than just for the fun of it. They basically chased most of the decent friendly members out of that place and are left with the idiots making up the majority of posts on there these days with just a handfull of decent\friendly members remaining.

As to why the admin let the idiots ruin his site instead of clearing out the idiots and banning them always puzzled me as he lost most of the active decent members leaving those who ruined his site in place.

Remarkably enough Channels manages to be an unhelpful Amsterdam forum. Quite what it is for is anyones guess but it does not appear to be about the useful exchange of information. Closer to the truth I'd suspect would be the 'Judging of other tourists in Amsterdam' forum.

Shame really as it has the potential to be decent.

Yes, the place is certainly unfriendly. However, once in a while some of those flames were really funny! But there's no question; when I want real information and good advice, this is the place to come...
