Haarlem

Post by davethecat »

Ok so sorry if I am asking something that has been gone over but I did have a look and I cant find anything definitive.

I am going to the Dam for four days at the end of the month and I was thinking of taking a trip to Haarlem for an afternoon. Has the ban affected Haarlem? I would like to go but if buying and smoking is gunna be an issue I'm not sure I can be bothered, I will just explore some of the outer shops in the Dam.

Also, if I do go does anyone have any reccomendations on which shops I should visit?

Thanks :D

the ban is not into effect in haarlem, you'll not haave problems buying hash and weed until 1st jan 2013. as for coffeeshops birdy's and willie's wortel chain are good options

Nice one, thanks Colino. Even though we are only going for four days I thought a change of scence might be nice. A doobie and a train ride to Haarlem it shall be.

2 tips

#1 don't get off the train too early. Easily done trust me!

#2 WW sativa whilst right in the central area near the train station is a souless and unfriendly coffeeshop. I'd avoid it and go the much superior WW indica. Both menus are the same anyway.
How much did you produce?

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?

If you can hit all 12 shops you will get a medal

If you see a big IKEA store north of the tracks ( Haarlem / Spaarnwoude ), go one more stop to Haarlem.
Some trains stop at Haarlem / Spaarnwoude, some don't.

Enjoy

Thanks for the replies fellas :)

Treetop - Thanks for the tip about the train, you have quite possibly saved me a humiliation haha! I will definitely have to check out WW Indica.

FlyByNight - I am there from July 30 to June 3rd. After Ikea, after Ikea, after Ikea......I will write it down. My memory while smoking is hazy at best.....Cannalympics eh....I might have to have a go, although I'm not sure we have 12 shops in one afternoon in us......may have a go though ;)

Colino - willie's wortel sensimilia eh. I hope the sun is out cos a terrace sounds like just the ticket. Nothing beats a joint and a coffee in the sun.......nothing.....
