Amsterdam, twice is nice

Well, the lady is all jealous that I am meeting one of my ol' buddies in Amsterdam this Saturday for a few days, so she made me agree to take her there a week after I get back. Oh, alright, baby, whatever you say. So, first I'll be there from the 21st-24th. We are both mid-30s and originally from NYC (now live in Germany) and we love to chill and drink good beers and laugh and all that. Got some old spots we hit in the past that we are excited about revisiting. My sense of direction is terrible. But my buddy seems to remember. Heck, I was all in a haze the last time (this time, note to myself, no space cakes). Then I come back on the 1st of November with my girl and, well, we'll be busy and not looking for company, but, I did want to note for anyone interested that in Amsterdam from Nov. 1-5, I recommend you check out the Midnight set of Dave Burrell playing piano. My man is classic and covers all schools from the 20th Century and probably fitting in fine in the 21st. Let me tell you the best part, his sets are free. For those who need a break from all that techno and need a nice place to chill round midnight, I know I'll be there for as many sets as I can get to. Anyone with recommendations for nice places, I'd be much obliged to hear about them. Techno parties excluded. Cheers!

I have posted both your trips on the Whos In Town page. Have a great couple of trips.
