Hi everybody! I recently discovered this forum as well as Amsterdam Channels. I decided to join this one as it seems much more active on discussions of Amsterdam and guests post daily. I am from Chicago and live about a mile from Wrigley Field. I am one of those rare Chicagoans that actually like the sox though, even though I'm not supposed to since I was born and raised on the north side. I want to be clear though, I love the cubs but i just like the sox.
Anyway, back to Amsterdam, I have gone every year since 2005 and am scheduled to arrive for my 2012 trip (my last one?) in 38 days (but who's counting?). I really hope this B.S. weed pass doesn't go through on January 1st. Or else my little heart will be broken. When I first went there in 2005 I absolutely loved it and thought it would be my vacation spot every year. Now I am not so sure. So I am gonna finally do all the things I haven't done in Amsterdam now that it might be my last.
I will start another thread later of all the things I've already done and the things I plan to do starting at the end of next month. And hopefully you guys can maybe gimme some ideas I haven't thought of. Thanks and I am glad to be part of the forum.

Think about a half day trip to Haarlem and do some Cannalympics events.
