Things I wanna do...

1. Dutch or Amsterdam history Museum. Don't remember what it's called, but it's right down the street from the Damrak.
2. Erasmus Brug in Rotterdam (Pics during day and Night)
3. Top of that Church Tower in the RLD


Can't really think of anything else at the moment. But I am pretty stoned. So tell me what you guys would do if it was quite possibly your last trip to the Netherlands.

Did not notice the Dutch resistance museum on that list, a rather interesting place to visit assuming it's still there.

Amsterdam Historical Museum is time well spent, so is the Resistance Museum. As long as it's raining.

Rembrandt Museum.

Amstelkring - Our Lord in the Attic.

Visit the cat boat.

Visit the Kattenkabinet.

Check out a hofje.

Drink some oily old Dutch jenever. Keep the stone bottle.

Canalbike!

Check out the Western Islands neighborhood.

Rent a houseboat.

Steal a bicycle.

Get a hooker.

Piss wild.

Get drunk and try to jump the OZ Achterburgwal canal...hilarity ensues.

(Don't) Buy a bike from a junkie. My junk bike got stolen about 1 week after I bought it... the 4 euro lock just didn't do it. Probably fell apart shortly after it was stolen from me. Good memories of cruising around on that piece of trash.

go visit the library http://www.oba.nl/ and have lunch on the terrace on the 7th floor... climb up on the roof of NEMO http://www.e-nemo.nl/(free) ... take the pont at the back of CS across to Amster noord and visit EYE

Great idea for a thread.

One place I didn't see listed were the Hortus Botanicus horticultural gardens. Really impressive and especially nice on a sunny day of course. Quite large enough for a nice afternoon stroll.

How about a tour round Ajax's football ground?.

Bloody brilliant advice and advice that i shall follow to the letter in subsequent trips, apart from trying to jump a canal and porking a hooker.

Cat boat ? Is this a cat that is used as a boat or a boat in the shape of a cat or even a boat carrying cat. Intrigued whatever it may be

Forgot if you like Shopping you must go to beverwijk bazaar its about 30-40minute from Amsterdam by train! and a 5 minute walk from trainstation its f..ing huge ...
