Bringing your own herbal cigarettes in coffeeshops
Bringing your own herbal cigarettes in coffeeshops
Are you allowed to use these instead of tobacco and smoke inside?

As long as it's not tobacco you should be fine.

I've not had a single problem smoking tobacco-based joints in any coffeeshop since the ban. As long as you keep your cigarettes out of sight, there seems to be no problem at all

Ditto...........I just take out the small amount of baccy I need and keep the rest in my pocket. I went to more shops than I can remember last time and I didn't have an issue anywhere. If in doubt just ask quietly and you will more than likely get the ok. I did this a couple of times too and didn't get a no.
Re: Bringing your own herbal cigarettes in coffeeshops
In my experience most herbal tobacco substitutes stink real bad and must, I think, take away from the taste of the weed you're smoking.
I don't like them to be used in my place of work coz they just stink the place up and I must admit to feeling the same way about these flavoured blunt wraps. I mean if the weed tastes so bad you need to add artificial flavours to smoke it then something just isn't right.
Tobacco on the other hand doesn't bother me so I have no objection to it. Hypocrite aren't I.

What you need to remember is like the Brit's, the Dutch put tobacco in their joints so 99% of shops will allow it as most of their customers would have to go elsewhere, id probably go elsewhere to purchase as well. There are however 1 or 2 places that are a bit stricter. At hunters bar (not coffeeshop) I was spotted by a bar lady putting baccy in a spliff and she was a bit arsey about it. She let me smoke it but said id be chucked out if I did it again. That doesn't really bother me as it was a dive and I wouldn't want to go back anyway. I seem to remember reading that grey area don't let you use baccy but I'm not sure. Your unlikely to get a seat anyway

I smoked one in there on the last trip but noticed that the only other punter in there had her cigs hidden under the drinks menusensismiler wrote:At hunters bar (not coffeeshop) I was spotted by a bar lady putting baccy in a spliff and she was a bit arsey about it.

So, if as a related issue a person does not smoke tobacco and wonders about the herbal additive as an alternative mixer due to not doing pure etc, if the herbal is that bad, a person does not use tobacco yet does not really want to do pure what other options are there?.
Is the cheapest Thai acceptable as a mixer if you don't smoke pure yet don't use or like tobacco?.

what about asking for a bag of shake for mixer?!
I guess that'd be much the same as pure tho...

Re: Bringing your own herbal cigarettes in coffeeshops
there are only 3 options. pure, mixed with tobacco or mixed with the herbal shite. so if you dont want to smoke it pure, you dont want to mix with baccy and you dont want to use the herbal stuff then basically you wont be smoking any weed this trip.
why not smoke it pure?? are you worried about strength? if so why not just buy a small pipe or something and just put a tiny bit in each time so you can slowly build up your high. i wouldnt advise a bong if your not a big smoker as they hit HARD!
thai weed is an option i suppose but unless you can find really good stuff then it will probably taste crap (not from experience). ive never seen a good example of thai in dam but its definitely out there, somewhere. plus i havent really looked for it either. could work out as an expensive substitute depending on how much youll be smoking but if its worth it to you then go for it!

I dont want to name shops, but those who have been dam, which most have will know alot of shops dont even mind you smoking fags. Alot of the staff smoke fags as well.
Re: Bringing your own herbal cigarettes in coffeeshops
What I meant was to use a low strength weed as a mixer. I always assumed thai was low price due to low strength than because of low quality?. Surely even a lowish to medium quality thai has to be a better option for a mixer than say tobacco or herbal?. If finding a decent quality Thai then that's a bonus, but would assumingly cost more.sensismiler wrote:there are only 3 options. pure, mixed with tobacco or mixed with the herbal shite. so if you dont want to smoke it pure, you dont want to mix with baccy and you dont want to use the herbal stuff then basically you wont be smoking any weed this trip.

Weed as a mixer? Haha! That reminds me of the first day of my first trip to Amsterdam. I got the munchies and used a space muffin as the solution.
