The wonderful Balou told me the Quentin Arrive wa sa reasonably-priced hotel and had a "lift." I don't understand complaints about it's stairs as i trust Balou. I hope his Info. about the Quentin Arrive having a "lift"(American Elevator) is correct.
Is it, BALOU? or should I go back to calling you, BAROU? I understand that The Greenhouse Effect has horrible Stairs from reviews I read below long ago. It sounds like a real DUMP, but you made me think the Quentin Arrive wad K, Balou. Are you living inthe Dam yet?? Maybe I'll show up at your door begging to stay with you a day or two until I find a place. I'd like to build my own little place 4 feet underground(so naturally insulated arm) someday. Wonder what the land for that would cost. Gotta be cheaper than hotels in a very short time

If you'll go for 6 feet under ground I know where you can rent a spot in Amsterdam for only 185E a year. If you miss a payment, they will dig you up and move you to Friesland where there is still plenty of room for cemeteries.

Stairs are good exercise. What's the problem? There is no elevator in the Q.A.

You were making a joke about making your own place 4 foot underground. I was only building on that joke. Sorry you did not get it. Lighten up.

I did not know you have a disability. My apologies for being insensitive. I did not read all of your posts so I had no idea. No where in this thread did you indicate why stairs are important. I lived in Amsterdam for 4 years and still have a home and family there. I suggest you ignore my posts and take Balou's advice on the elevator at the Q.A. A dumber then dirt guy wouldn't know. Enemies list? Can't take sarcasm? Truth hurt? No sense of humor? Maybe I'll invite you to a tea party to make it all good again.

OK, I took time to read a few of your posts. Now I get you have never been to Amsterdam and know nothing at all. Believe me when I tell you that there is no lift in the QA. Balou is just confused. You really need to go for an American style Hotel as they can help you get around too. I would offer you a free "ganja tour" and arrange for a wheelchair or Tuc tuc.

With those maladies I suggest googling Rick Simpsons Phoenix Tears information and get cured man.

You sir, have an anger problem. And if you spent 10 minutes looking at the reviews of the Quentin on Trip Advisor you'd quickly realize that it definitely does not have a lift.

You will be guaranteed a lift in any larger commercial hotel. Use trip advisor to get a better sense of the appropriate hotels.

People seem to do very well using Priceline to get a good deal.
Any smaller boutique hotels or cheaper places will probably undoubtedly
Have stairs. Amsterdam has stairs, lots of stairs. To get to a bathroom in many restaurants and coffeeshops there may very well be a narrow spiral of steps...be forewarned.

Take a couple of deep breaths and cool down your attitude.
