Hi guys!

I'm Czech student and I'll be in Maastricht for next half year at erasmus stay. I've read about the current situation here so I'm wondering where and how it's possible to buy some weed there. I know that there's no legal way, but... :D In Prague it's no problem to buy it almost anywhere (pubs, clubs...) though it's illegal. Any suggestions? Thanks!

From what I understand, there aren't any coffeeshops still operating, are there? Either way, just find a dealer or an address. From what I've heard, they won't be hard to find thanks to the shitheads in the Hague.

From my understanding, the Coffeeshops in Maastricht are all closed in protest. Except maybe one.

If you don't want to deal with the street dealers, take a train to Amsterdam. From Maastricht, we're talking 2:26 hours and 23,20€ each way.

Depending on how far the wietpas will have progressed when you're there, you may be able to find accessible coffeeshops with a shorter train ride.

I don't think students will qualify for the resident's pass.
You need to go to the townhall and be registered at the address with your social security number.
Do students have BSN numbers?
And after that, you need a 'Citizen of Maastricht' paper from the council (costs 8 euro) and they only give you that if you're registered at that address...

apparently weed is cheaper on the streets... and no restrictions..

Coffeeshop Mississippi and Missouri will close in October... Fantasia is already closed because of the
weed pass. The owners said when in september a new (weed friendly) goverment will be elected they
will open again or when the court said that the weed pass is not legal... if not they will close forever...
So for me it was only 45 minutes to go to maastricht... know many people there... what a pity!
