half grams ?

hey peps,will most shops do half grams of ice hash etc(say30e n above) even if not on menu?

Some do ( the ones that weigh on demand ), some don't ( the ones with pre weighed bags ).
Just ask the budtender.

You can get twice the strains for the same money, wise choice.

smile and ask nicely, if your getting weed their as well ask after that, ive got away with 1/2 grams or 10 euros worth if im running out of euros. at the end of the day all they can say is No and you move to the next coffeeshop..

I've never asked for a half gram, I would if I know the shops that did them though.

Ask at any shop you go into, except those with pre weighed bags.
They have to pass any purchase across the scales whether the sale
is half a gram or five grams ( or quite a bit more in the old days ).

If you are too shy to ask, go to Greenplace. any of their top shelf ( and priced )
product can be bought by the half gram.

Better yet, get over your shyness and ask everywhere. Report back so other shy folks
won't be terrorized into asking a simple question.

Any coffeeshop without pre weighed bags should be willing to sell you half grams. Those modern scales will do the math for them anyway - not all have em of course. Asking for any round amount over 10 euros shouldn't be a problem at all.

p.s. few years back I saw a local who bought half a gram of 'Gruis' weed (leftovers of the weed tubes) at the dampkring - think it was 4 euros...

I'm hoping I can buy most of my gear in half gram portions when I get there, would much rather smoke many different top end varieties than a few mid range smokes for the same price.

Personally I'd not think of spending €20\30\40+ per gram as thats a crazy price to pay. But if offered at a half gram deal I'd be kind of tempted as a one off just to see the difference between the crazy price gear and the standard upto €15 per gram gear.

But from a coffeeshop point of view, if asking for half gram deals, I cant see a problem if your buying 2 seperate top shelf gear strains at half a gram as they are still getting pretty much the same money as if buying just a single gram. Besides if 1 of those half gram deals really hits the spot a person might be more likely to go back and buy a full gram next time.

Most shops do a 5 eur bag if asked. As a loner (lightweight) smoker who is over there with work, 3 or 4 different 5 eur bags does me nicely...

Den Haag is now a 8 eur minimum.

I've bought half grams all the time, but only in conjunction with buying a gram of something else. Especially hash and kief which I almost always buy by the half-gram.

I do a lot of half grams in the dam, get as many strains in my short trips that way.

I find generally most places with good service wil do two halves of different strains in one sale.

I asked for a half gram at Dampkring 2 while they were busy, and got all shake. I don't think I would order a half gram from anywhere again. I don't think I would order from a super busy shop again either...Maybe come back if my heart was set on it. I was to set on an agenda....Rookie mistake...Live and learn
