Not long now...

Post by donpacino »

Hey guys, so the wife and I are off on our annual trip to Amsterdam in a couple of weeks (hopefully it wont be our last tho if the stupid weed pass fails).

So i was wondering if anyone has any reccomendations of top weed out there at the moment and the best coffeeshops, im only asking because i know things change quite alot out there and what was a bad coffeshop last year could be a good one this year, ive been lots of times now so i know the city quite well so travelling a bit further than the centrum is not a problem

Anything else any one can reccomend will be great to, it aint gotta just be weed related, we love the RLD to.

On a side note and purely for my own interest what is the average amount of € you would spend daily out there not including accommodation or travel just food and spending money for 2 people.

Eat at pizzeria Doria = 30euros 2 persons
waffles and other stuff troughout the day = 20euros 2 persons
drinks in coffeeshops , and drinks at night = 50euro 2 persons

weed :
5 grams a day = 50 - 60 a day
Relax and take notes , as I take tokes of the marihuana smoke

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

I would suggest a day or half day trip to Haarlem. 7,60 euro return ticket for a 15 minute train ride.
If you have the stamina, you could do all 12 shops in the Cannalympics and get a medal.

Hey there and thanks for the reply,

We are in town from the 16th August until the 22nd.

I like the sound of the canalympics in Harlem, think i might go for that. How do you sign up for it? Is it just a case of talking to a bud tender in the first coffeeshop you go in and then getting a card or something stamped in every coffeeshop after that?

Any other coffeeshops or weed in Amsterdam you can reccomend at the moment?

You have been posted on the August Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=49122

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Here is a playsheet for the Cannalympics - http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/0-WhosIn ... ySheet.jpg ( 8meg ).
A playsheet and map are available at any of the participating shops.
All you have to do is visit all 12 shops for the medal. If you do any of the events is up to you.

The Cannalympics map - http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/0-WhosIn ... csMap1.jpg ( 10 meg )

PC is being a bitch so couldn't copy the link but this is from the hempcity website cannaolympics page (i've mashed a few bits together)
" starting on 420 the cannaolympics , the events will take place at 12 shops between the hours of 10:00 & 19:00 each weekend day.
The Awards ceremony will take place at WWSinsemilla at the end of the season during harvest time (october) we will keep you informed of the exact date.

so unless the 28/10/12 is the last day to have a go looks like wifey n I will miss out  bollocks  oh well just have to wrecked in Haarlem for the complete fun of it
