ice hash

Post by zach46290 »

I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on the best ice hash, from what i've heard from people it can be very good, but a lot of it is a rip off, anyways since there is a decent price difference, like 25-60 a gram. I'm willing to pay if its the best but i just don't want to spend 50 on something thats just going to be average. thanks in advance for everyone imput

Hi
The premium ice (40E) from CS Resin is pretty damn nice. There was a choice of oil or ice when i was there a few weeks back. I got the oil option and it was a pain to get it in the pipe but worth the hassle and cash.
O2 (25E for 0.6) from the blue bird has been really strong and worth the cash the three times I have got it.
Amber from the Blue bird is also really strong and worth it. The sky from the blue blue tastes lovely but doesn't last that long
Barneys 60E ice is alright but not strong enough for that type of money
The BHO from 1e hulp was really strong as well but a nightmare to handle.
The 20E ice from Utopia is nice but not in the same league strength wise

Happy hunting

I'll probably be flamed for my opinion(s) about pricing, and how if I don't like it don't buy it (which I don't), but damn people, we are being fleeced.
I haven't been paying much attention to ice hash as of late, but damn the prices have gotten ridiculous.
A couple of years ago I thought Dampkrings Water Works at 30+gm was ridiculous, but I see prices have really gotten out of hand.
Think about what constitutes ice hash and how its processed...
- trim and underdeveloped bud that would otherwise be thrown away (yup, people to this day still throw it out; I'll take it... )
- water; ice; one bucket; three bags (190/90/25micron - personal choice); manual or electric mixer; other materials but not necessary - dry screen, spray bottle, etc...
Not much time or effort in making ice hash. One could argue time spent trimming the bud, but that would happen regardless.
Note: I do understand that there are grow ops that are exclusively for hash, but this in and of itself doesn't justify the ridiculous prices.

Will stoners ever stop being their own worst enemy? :( I have hope...

Happy trails...

Not about to flame you on this one, ice hash in Amsterdam is a total rip off. Top shelf ice hash can be had for $30 or less a gram in most American dispensaries. In Colorado some dispensaries sell ice hash that compares to 60 euros shit for $15 a gram. I will never buy ice hash in Amsterdam.

When you see how easy it is to make it does seem like a rip off. Also do you trust the place you buy from?

You can make ice hash from all kinds of grades of trim from the same plant and still label and price it as 'Vogue Strain Ice.' You could end up getting early flower or even veg trim ice and paying 50eu+ a gram for it.
How much did you produce?

While this is an example from Jamaica not The Netherlands........ 20 seconds into the video you see the huge bag of crap trim........you can watch him stir for 30 minutes or not....very quick and dirty way to get hash when you have excess amounts of trim. I didn't sample any while there, nor would I.
I do however not regret getting a gram of SSH from HGF.....don't even remember what it cost me........dont even remeber the next 6 hours.......

How is domestic dutch-ice-hash more expensive than import hash? Makes no sense from an economic stand point. Defo something fishy....

Basically in my eyes there are two forms of hash. Leftover shit, and handmade. How do you know which one your getting is the question? Source, or sample really....if you can't know the source then you're left to sample (some have a keen eye, not me tho) just remember when sampling:

You fool me once....shame on you............you fool me........you cant get fooled again!

It is a total rip off and unless its unpressed then you won't be able to tell how good it is without a scope to check the green content, if its pressed then highly likely to be total crap and a multigrade mix, cash for trash, lots of cash for trash but if I ever come by a real fudgey full melt I won't be able to resist, but then again I got more chance of seeing God in Amsterdam than full melt.

Yeah Ice is too expensive but when yer in the Dam and on a weed holidays it will do you no harm to sample a gram/half gram or 2 as how often do you see your local dealer with it on his menu. Might as well when in Rome, lol.

+1 Ice is too expensive

- 1 the rest
You, me, and hundreds of thousands (millions perhaps) do harm by occasionally sampling small bits. Think about it for a moment...
Every year, hundreds of thousands (millions?) buy weed and hash from C/S's. Not all are going to buy Hash, much less Ice, but there are enough that creates a false sense of demand. This is given to one extremely simple explanation - the C/S culture is part of a monopoly. Basically, tokers are a captive audience because the alternatives are street dealers, personal connect/dealer, grow weed and make your own, or do without. ( )
The business of Cannabis... for the common stoner, not so good after all.

Although I won't pay these prices, there are thousands that will and do on a daily basis.
Once again, PT Barnum called it straight... suckers! 'ing
... and we laugh about it because we're stoned (Bob Dylan's Rainy Day Women #12 & 35)
