Trips 4 and 5

Post by endoftheline »

Hey guys, just weeks away from my 4th and 5th trips.

First trip 15 - 18 august will be staying in the centrum area with a couple of friends. We just plan to sink the odd beer or three at stones and try as many interresting strains as we can, and enjoy some dutch sunshine!

Second trip 11 - 15 september with my girlfriend. Staying in the oud zuid district in a traditional canal boat. Should be pretty awesome. Looking forward to checking out the southern ams coffee shops and the albert cuyppmarket.

From what I've read the best cs at the moment are:

Voyagers
Media place
Anydays
Grey area
Centraal

Is that right? Any I've missed, any that shouldn't be on the list?

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the August and September Whos In Town pages.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

Cheers for the heads up. Will have to keep my eyes open for some of these little meets.

Can anyone recommend any good hash? I've never tried hash in the jam, but am told its far better than the crap we get here. I used to smoke squidgy and slate years ago, but nowdays all it does is give me a sore throat!

Hi endoftheline - managed to recover from your 4th trip out there yet  hope you managed to find some good hash, the squidgy you mention is probably most similar to a cheap Afghan Hash, and Slate is basically a very low grade Moroccan, probably full of crap additives too!

For a squidgy/sticky one - maybe try Temple Ball instead - Trans Himalayan from Kadinsky, or something a bit more oily/sticky like the Ghorka or Otta from Bluebird

And instead of Slate - try a nicer Moroccan - Twizla from the Green Place was tasty, it's not hard like slate, but nice tasting and strong.

I'll be there from the 11th, same day as you by the looks of things, thinking about a T&T in the first few days.
