Lazerbeam,yeah,its good for me,don't completely understand why she loves it so much,i mean i like the architecture,cafes,bars,general atmosphere,people watching etc but could get that elsewhere too,i would like to try other smoky hotspots around the world but a lot of it is she's shit scared to fly and gets tranquilized for a 1 hour flight ,
after a drink or two shes more stoned than me
We both like wee regular breaks to look forward to as well,got a wee girl now , so soon it'll be family holidays in the u.k,back in Dam in October,think my Dam trips are coming to an end ,last trip i think
Its been a blast,an expensive hobby but worth every guilder and euro

If it does turn out to be your last trip (I doubt it), make sure you enjoy every minute - sure you will.

@ Embraman - having a little one shouldn't stop you enjoying the delights of mokum, we've been visiting with ours for the past few years. They love it, amsterdam is a very child friendly city - loads to do. Beats morecombe and prestatyn hands down

Lazerbeam-Thanks-it was a trip to Blackpool(our first time away together)that made me insist on Amsterdam,grotty fucking place,spent more there too than i ever do in dam,telling myself it'll not be the last,but while be for a coupla years i think,i'll be sure to savour every second anyway in case,always do
Spireax-Yeah maybe,but i get enough grief for my home(outside) smoking,don't think she'd let me walk around in my usual Holland state with the bairn around,thought about the Centre Parc in Holland or similair though,not looked into it yet,Any tips would be gratefully recieved,i can try to sway the mrs,not usually succesful though
Embralady so scared of flying she probably won't let the wee one near a plane anyway
