re-sparking this bad boy and guna say looking back on it now your advice was spot on! people where practically running to the seats and sofas! luckily we were pretty much the first ones on to get on! not including people with cars ect... was funny watching them fight for places lol we had some crazy strong edibles made by a buddy and got mega mashed! swiftly grabbed a couple sofas and didnt move for 4hrs! lol so i would definitely pass that piece of advice on to others... when on a ferry always establish your area quickly and guard it with your life!! lol ...anyway it was an amazing trip to say the least! keep it cool mate!stuart1976 wrote:the trick with the long boat trip is get out of your car quick and nab a nice couch to sleep on (they go bloody quick) the boats are boring as shit, but any trip to Dam is always brilliant.. have a great time and smoke yourself silly..

nah not this year! flights are booked already! i think itll be a while before we go by ferry again! it was fun and stuff but took so long! lol its 6hr+ by ferry and only a 45min flight! faster travel means more precious time to smoke! getting the earliest flight there and the latest one coming home! again adding to those sweet Amsterdam moments!Willjay wrote:Are you taking the ferry this year

Done this many times when I was working the wind farms, it can be rough. My advice is do the overnight crossing, that way you save time and sleep through, if you are lucky. It's a fair drive the Dutch end make sure you don't get lost, if you have a Tom Tom you most likely will, check on the map beforehand. Never done the foot passenger bit but probably much quick the Dutch end than the car. The resteruant meals are a bit pricey but well worth it, good start to any trip. Breakfast is good but set the alarm so not to rush, think you can board like an hour or more beforehand which is cool with the hours time difference. Cabins are good with shower to get fresh for the morning. By the way I have been delayed for over six hours on Easyjet once!
