Hey guys, this isnt going to be a massive in depth report but I will do my best to make it as good as I can. Also I'm only mentioning the bud I bought personally, if I was to talk about what my friends bought aswell I would be here all night
This was my second trip to Amsterdam and this time I was going with two friends. We arrive in Amsterdam at approx 9:00am and we're all hungry so I suggest we kill two birds with one stone and have brekfast at Popeye. I loved this place on my first visit and it's next door to our hotel, The Quentin Arrive, so it made sense. We all order Cheese and Ham toastis, which were amazing by the way. You get like five for 5 euros - great value. I also bought one gram of Chocolate Kush which cost 10 euros. It was a nice enough smoke to start the trip. It lacked any real taste but smoked clean and gave me a nice uplifting high. 6/10. One a side note I really feel this place is underrated. At one point I counted 20 paying customers buying food, drinks and bud. Clearly there is something that is drawing people back there.
After we finished we made our way out of Popeye hoping to have a nice moring stroll around dam but it wasn't to be as it was pissing down so we had no choice but to pop in at Bulldog. I was here on my first trip and It was terrible back then but I was pleasently surprised this time round. We were greeted by a friendly and fairly stoned budtender who reccomended me their Amnesia Haze. It was a very nice smoke - tasted and smelt great. At 12 euros a very competitive price I thought. 8/10
The rain stopped so we strolled around soaking up the atmosphere but after a good 90mins enough was enough and the smoking resumed. We walked past the original Dampkring by accident and I missed out on this place the last time I was in dam so we dropped in. The place was packed out, not a single seat, so this was going to be a buy and fly. The budtender here was great, really took the time to engage in a conversation with us - unlike most budtenders in dam. I asked to see the Mexican Haze. "Wow" was the word that came out of my mouth. The smell blew me away, which really surprised me. After reading positive stuff about this strain I went ahead and got some. Nice smoke - great hazey taste, not the best high. 13 euros. 7/10.
More to follow later.

Nice reading, thanks.
I must have missed something about Popeye because I did not think much of the place last year so will give it another go later this month.
Will also give the Bulldog another go to seeing as a few reports from those that have been there have reported its not to bad and pretty good unlike those who seem to hate the place yet don't go there in recent trips to know weather they have improved things like a number of favoured places that's well rated these days.

Picking up from were I left off...
After leaving Dampkring me and my friends had acquired a good ammount of bud to start our trip, so we set off to Lost in Amsterdam: Lounge Cafe. A great place to chill and smoke up. If you're not careful you could easily spend hours here without realising. Over the two days I was in dam I spent roughly five hours here. So it is definitely worth visiting if you stumble across it. Anyway after finishing off most of our smoke we decide to move on. At this point it is around 4:00pm so we head over to our hotel to check in and have a butchers at our room. A triple room with private facilities. For one night it cost 119 euros. Everything was clean and tidy and upon opening the windows you step out on to a balcony. Which was perfect for being able to pop out and have a smoke. After dropping our bags off we head out for some food and more smoking.
After lunch we stop in at Barneys and the place is packed to the rafters. There were around four budtenders who were all busy serving people, which gave me a few miniutes to decide on what I wanted. Pretty good menu at first glance although expensive. I opted for the Utopia Haze. This was a real let down, out of the various haze strains I sampled whilst here this was the worst. It actually looked and smelled good when I was checking it out before I went ahead and bought it. But the taste and high was below average and at 15 euros I expected a lot more. As I said it was really busy here so we walked down the street to Popeye to smoke what we purchased from Barneys. Several spliffs down the line it's getting quite late so we retreat to our hotel to have a smoke up before we call it a night. Back at the hotel I settle down and get ready to skin up and notice I'm running low on bud. So I go across the road to Dampkring2, it's nearly closing time so I make a quick buy and head back to my room. The strain in question was named Honey Dew, it was covered in crystals and had a nice yet not overpowering smell. Great value at 8.50 euros, one of the highlights of the trip for me, bud wise.
Thats all for now, day two tomorrow.
