Thanks for sharing your live grow report...
One question, why did you have the lights on for 36hrs, or on at all?
The only reason I can think to have any artificial light at this stage is for heat.
They will grow in ambient light throughout most of the seedling stage, no real need for artificial lighting.
Just food for thought...
Happy farming...

Hi Hazy Neville,
Again, why are you using ANY artificial light at this time?
Basically you are wasting resources, which are yours to waste - if you are paying the electric bill.
You can read anywhere on the Internet, or speak to any experienced grower, and you will find a majority consensus will tell you natural light is all that is needed at this point.

This is what I did when I grew my first auto. Come to think of it, I'm still growing it...
I used the sunlight, but not directly, placing the seedling just off to the side. I find that this aids in preventing a stretch, not to mention saving on resource and equipment.
When the seedling established its first multi-bladed leaf, I put it under a 125w CFL @24/0 until the first five bladed leaf was established (or should I say the node). I then placed the plant with the rest of the crop under a 600w HPS.
A lesson that I've learned is that growing an auto under 12/12 will not provide the yield it's capable of, nor what I expected.
My thinking is that the first two to three weeks are essentially a vegetation period, which is a good time to use CFL/Metal Halide @18/6; no 24/0 for me, I don't want stretch.
When the plant(s) begin to sex, I will use the HPS for the remainder of the flowering period @16/8 or more.
The next time I grow an auto, I will not be mixing it/them with regular plants as I found this creates a whole set of different issues.

Happy farming...

WEEK 2 DAY 9

Hi Ron, I have all systems go because i am breaking in a new grow space, and wanted to deal with with any humidity/heat issues earlier rather than later, My light cycle is 20/4 this is apparently the ideal light cycle for autos. do you have any pics of your grow would love to have a look

Here are a few of pics of the state of play

Excellent, breaking in a new space can be fun, or it can be... I won't jinx..
I wanted at least a 16/8, unfortunately I don't have the space to grow the auto by itself.
As I mentioned previously, 12/12 has not been kind... :(

As for pics, I will post a grow report w/pics when the bud has 2-3wk cure. This way I am able to provide a complete report, including a taste test.
Speaking of which, today I harvested seven OG#18's and three Cream Caramel Hybrids, but I didn't harvest the Pandora Auto because it still needs a little more time.

Continued success... :)
Happy farming...
