actually ,i can get great weed right here in my hometown in the us( not the variety certainly nor the hash) that is just as potent. as a matter of fact a few of the amsterdam coffeeshop employees i have talked to have mentioned how canada is really too be envied for their huge expanses where they can grow quality bud. i come to amsterdam for the freedom to get high as a kite in public without having to hide my actions. that is fairly unique to amsterdam. being in a historical old world city with fabulous architecture and more canals than venice makes it more attractive than a weed dispensary in cali or denver in my opinion. plus it is a good stepping off point to meet the wife in another part of europe after a few days in the dam

they are out of control because we are devaluing the dollar in order to pay off our debts in cheaper dollars. oil and commodities have been on fire for the last 10 years (interrupted briefly by the near collapse of the financial markets). to think we are in a recession now and prices are still through the roof is crazy. it is especially crazy because we by all rights should have been heading to deflation given the excess credit we have generated for many years past. simply they are trying massively to create some inflation to ward off deflation . and at the moment they are succeeding .

exactly my thoughts
