I always plan a start to a trip... next time out of the gate this is my likely plan... we'll see if Amsterdam allows me to keep this detail.

Plan lands at 7:05am... Intro Centraal Station by 8:15am... say 8:30am... drop off bag at locker and grab a quick coffee and bagel.

Down to 1e Hulp, then working back up through Paradox and Barneys for breakfast by noon.

Quick stop into Voyagers then check into apartment.

ok sweeet couple of months to go

well my plan for Sunday is:

Land at Schipol at about 16:15
Hand luggage only so quick trip through customs to the train station via the ticket machine to save time.
Walk out of Amsterdam CS about 17:00
Check into Bulldog hotel by 17:30
Out for the night by 17:40
In Ricks by 17:45 for a quick couple of happy hour beers
18:30 off for a coffeeshop buy & fly crawl
19:30 smoker friendly bars for the night.

Arriving tomorrow at 8:30.
Eta Central Station at 9:15.
Find coffeeshop that's open 9:30
Voyagers maybe an hour or so later.
Sllloooowwly make your way to Spui for check in at 15:00, hitting CS's on the way and having lunch or snacks, depending on the munchies.
Wander around through the neighbourhood and make it to the NES around 18:00

-> from there 'till monday...

My Day 1 "Plan of Attack" is also the complete stay most of the time... but I'm in Mokum...
Arrive at Centraal around 9am on the overnight train, head to Utopia for a smoke and a cuppa...
By 10am, the original Dampkring for a hot Belgium chocolate (the type on a stick), and some lovely Sativa...
An hour later it's time to think about lunch. Many quality choices besides the (fill in the blank) being sold around the Centrum, just gotta know where to look.
For an afternoon delight, stop by Voyagers if I'm in the area, or one of the many shops in town, and score some lovely.
Weather permitting, chill out in one of the parks for a couple of hours, enjoying the day.
Nearing 1600, time for a pint and a chat at t'Nes. About the time I'm ready for my second pint, I have to leave to catch the late train home.

A few weeks later, time to do it all over again....
One day I'll be able to add an overnight stay...

I am a happy jealous for you that there are so many opportunities to visit Mokum...

My initial plan of attack used to be...

- Get to Centraal, head to the Rokerij at as fast a walking pace as possible
- Grab something nice and strong to smoke
- Smoke a couple of spliffs whilst chilling in the front watching the world go by and chatting to random other smokers
- Start to think hmmmm, haven't stood up for a while, hope my legs still work, then think better get to where I'm staying whilst my brain is still sorta working
- Check in, drop off luggage
- Grab some munchies or food, and head straight out to another Coffeeshop

All that's changed now is I suppose is I'll be heading to the 420 Cafe rather than the Rokerij, so sad to see that place go still.

Nicotine hit while wife gets train tickets ( Plus I get to watch the devastation on peeps faces having to go home)
Central Station
Usually stay on the Beurstraat (Frisco Inn)
Round the corner to Baba to pick up a cheap grinder
Usually De Kuil as is our tradition, although Voyagers last time
Float about for the rest of the day taking it all in
Munch the life clean out of dinner
A wee beer and spliffs
Crash into hotel
Laugh at weird adverts on tv
Slip into a coma

Bus 197 into town, then tram if necessary - fuck the train.

Land at the holiday rental.

Try to meet up with The Mobile Amsterdam Smoke Event, aka Gapie, to swap American sweets for my glass bowl, which really should have a pet name by now.

Get high wherever we are. Really high. No shop is a first day must-visit anymore.

Not get hit by a bicycle, auto, or tram in my tired, medicated state.

However, October 9th is being planned. Bus, rental, Albert Heijn run, meet Gapie at Eerste Hulp, back to rental to welcome bigjames420, tram to Voyagers for testing tuesday, stop at Utopia, then perhaps a bite before a yet-unannounced TnT. After 5 or 6pm, who knows...? More food/coffee, then onto 't Nes!!! Smoke away the evening, tram 17 home, Zzzzzz.

overnight flight arriving about 6am, cash from the ATM and train to central, across to GVB for our passes and of to the Westerkerk tram stop on the Raadhuisstraat to drop our bags at the hotel Nadia then walk across town to open the BlueBird, then a crawl, eat, smoke till check in, shower nap dinner and a coffee shop crawl till we crash

My plan of attack

Land on the 10th sep should be at central by half 8-9 then mosey on other to hunters far some kandy kush tilll voyagers opens at 10 ish. Book in at the winston far 2pm quick shower then off to utopia then at some point go to the bulldog hotel/coffee shop far the jack Daniels BBQ ribbz (witch I think are the best in town) my main mission this trip is to try new coffee shops I have never tryed before. Only 18 days to goooo
