Hi all! I'm going to be in Amsterdam on a flight connection TOMORROW for most of the day. I am planning to use this time to purchase a high end German made glass bong there.

I'm on a budget of 200-250 euros, looking for a piece by Roor/Hurricane/Ehle/G Spot/Magic Glass.

So which headshops are worth checking out other than Roor Shop Amsterdam, Baba Souvenir Shop and The Old Man? I would be glad to know which brands are available at the headshops you mention.

Just in case, are there any other brands of the same caliber I might want to consider?

I know you stated you wanted a german piece but i think in that price range youre best bet would be a syn inverted showerhead straight, as any roor you get will not have any work which in my opinion is the point of a roor

the only other one iw ould recommend is the DNA shop 3 doors down from the ROOR shop

Where can you purchase SYN in Amsterdam ? Wouldn't mind a look myself

I dont know anywhere in amsterdam but you can just purchase online.

hoping to buy a piece myself while im over there. how can i take it home with me? i know i cant smoke out of it until i get home, but can i bring it on a plane or am i better off just mailing it back?

The Old Man is shit for glassware, much better off going to The Headshop down the road.

Was looking for a diffuser or even just a plain downstem for my glass bong cos mine broke and it appears that Old Man doesn't even sell any 18,8mm downtubes at all... worse, I had to explain what a downstem was to BOTH persons who worked there and they couldn't get over the fact that it had to be 16-18cm long (hurr hurr, 16-18cm long, hurr)..one guy seemed to not understand the concept of diameter either, pretty sad. Their glassware section was tiny, meager

While at The Headshop they had a range of different downstems and diffusers from 14 to 29mm, and could cut them to any length free of charge.

There aren't much online headshops in NL actually. Apollyon is OK-ish. outside of NL Grasscity, EDIT or head&nature are much better but their shipping to here is pricier and takes longer.

Roor, DNA and Baba all have a selection of glass worth checking out.

Majority of decent glass is fucking expensive in Dam , a wee blue label Roor from EDIT is like £44.99 , think it's like €65 in Roor and €75 in Babas HS or whatever one it is on warmoestraat

So I wouldn't even like to think of the price difference of something worth a few hundo

I'm just gonna grab another 40 euro weed star at the cup ...worked great the last few years...just want bong without rush holes
