Hi all - I'm guessing these questions have been asked already a few times on the site, so apologies if I'm being redundant, but I'm looking at ordering both a cubensis grow kit and some truffles from one of the Dutch companies, to be sent to Berlin. Anybody on the list have experience receiving either/both in Berlin or elsewhere in Germany? I saw someone mention in another posting that their credit card was charged to an address in Lisbon, so at least it won't show up directly in connection to a Dutch address. I hope I don't sound paranoid, but my wife is from the UK and I'm from the US, and we've only been living in Berlin for a little under a year. Don't wanna screw anything up for ourselves with the law, but we'd also simply like to have some mushroom fun in the comfort of our own haus!

Oddly, I do, though I don't do mushrooms and wouldn't post them if I did. But when I lived in Berlin (this is going back a way, when there were two of them) I knew someone who had had them sent through the post, and was called to an interview with the police. Smiling broadly, they asked her if she was fond of eating mushrooms (Essen Sie gerne Pilze, Frau Simon?).
She got off with a scare, apparently, which surprises me; I'd expect a fine at least. As with all post, it's a lottery. But if it gets stopped, they take it more seriously in Germany than in the UK, where they don't really make much of an effort to find out who the recipient might be.
