I know this is probably a stupid question but I didn't take a lot of notice about pre rolled when I wa over there last. When you buy a pre rolled joint can you decide which cannabis you want in it or is it pot luck?

prerolls suck, better to get a gram or 2 and if you cant roll ask the bud tender if ther b=not busy

Everything should be marked on the menus

Most shop have several kinds for example-

2 or 3 different strains mixed with baccy (hash and weed)

and 1 or 2 rolled pure

Some also have a mixed weed joint on the menu

Generally though, the standard of pre-rolls are questionable and most people here would probably avoid them.

(I have no doubt that there are probably some places out there that offer excellent pre-rolls)

Even if the shop has several types of pre rolls, you will never know whats in it. I would suggest you find a budtender that is not to busy and ask him to roll a couple for you. Most will oblige but whatever you do, DON"T BUY A PRE ROLL!

+1. you do not know how many days before it was rolled, it could taste harsh. leaving a small tip could help you to convince the tender to roll it for you

The few I tried sucked, but for 2 and 3 euros who cares. I usually only bought one when the stash was already full, I was sick of coffee and Sal needed to use the ladies.

For fuck sake dont do pre-rolled unless you smoke tobac in the first place (unless pure). I tried quality haze gear from either Voyagers or Utopia (easily amongst the best 2 in the city) with a little tobacco last month & could not take a full drag of the fucker as a non smoker as it exploded in my fuckin lungs after non tobacco smoking for over 15 months and left me feeling like a €12-14 per gram gear was more like shite €3 per gram shite.

If you have to do pre rolled get a pure rolled joint

I have no problems with rolling. The Reason I asked was that I want to try as many strains as possible but not end up spending a fortune only to give half or more of my stash away come the end of the trip as I'm not a heavy smoker

Thanks for the advice guys if anyone's around on the 3rd October let me know and you can have the stash

In fairness, dont allow yourself more weed than you will smoke by your last day or going into departures (seeing as most on here will do the last joint or 2 outside the airport). It's ok buying several grams upto your last day etc. But when you settle into your trip you will know within a couple of days how much you will need or not need for your leaving day.

I got mine spot on, bought about 7 grams on my last full day, smoking pure the entire trip and had a good 1 gram joint outside the airport as I worked out both my limits and what I had left. Ok I had airport security 1 side of me 6 foot away and an airline staff the other side of me 6 foot away outside the airport!!!!!, thought I was fucked but was fine in the end lol!.

most shops will give you half g if you ask

So is there any place where you guys would say is known for quality pre-rolled pure weed or weed hash mix?

You know, if the Mayans are right and I realize I don't have time to roll it and gotta get a pre-rolled real quick...
