Hash .. :-) quality..

We are having a discussion about hash quality.
Back in the old days it was said that the strongest hash is "in the edge of the plates". But then we didnt have internet in those days..
Is this a fact or is it in "the middle" of the plates?? Maybe the question is obvious, but i seek knowledge and would like to know stuff about these things. Some hash is sometimes more soft in the edges and cornes i guess..

I hardly think it would make a difference. But if one part were to be better than another then I imagine the middle would be stronger as the thc wouldn't have been degraded by being in contact with air or light
