WTF is going on here?

OP here. I live in Bochum, NRW and don't have to use German Rail (Die Bahn). I use, and already have a monthly ticket for, our regional traffic network (VRR = Vehrkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr) which brings me to Kaldenkirchen at the Dutch boarder free of charge. For the 1 stop Kaldenkirchen-Venlo, I need an additional Ticket (Zusatzticket) for each way at a cost of 2.60€ (
price list VRR). And even you probably know that 2 x 2.60@ =
5.20€. That's for the price...
Now to the time it takes. If I go on a workday right after work, it looks like this: Departure "Bochum Hbf" @ 17:33h, Arrival "Venlo, Station" @ 18:56h,
total travel time 1:23h, 1 Transfer in Viersen, Layover 6 minutes already included. You need to see to believe? Travel planning VRR is
here. Anyway:

It's better because I like to spend time at the shop, smoke weed there, talk to people. If I go by car I either need a DedicatedDriver, which is hard to come by or I have to drive under the influence of some very potent wiet, which in my book is a definitive no-go. Also, I don't need a car where I live and therefore don't own one. Again:

Obviously in a forum with some very annoying members

If you read my post again, it says
"I have ~7 hours when I go by bus (11-18h)" which means (and I thought quite clearly) that I have
7h of time to spend in Amsterdam, no mention of travel time there...
Dude, seriously, what's your problem? From reading this forum, I got the impression that it's usually more civilized...
