Great report man - sounds like an amazing trip!

day 6 got up a bit late. had breakfast and was off to shopping. souvenirs and sweets for friends back home mainly. some of my friends have come to EXPECT stroopwaffles when i get home. at this point of my trip i wasn't buying a whole lot. mainly was finishing off my stash and buying in coffeeshops what i could finish there in one sitting. went to dampkring and thought the pineapple was amazing surprisingly one of the better smokes of the trip..cured to perfection. after enjoying an ie cold gingerale and finishing the 20 euros worth i bought i headed down to my bench by the canal to people watch and listen to some tunes on the ipod to kill time until the toke n talk at noon at voyagers .got there and met gaipe,stillsmokin,treetop and 2 others whose names escape me..sorry guys for forgetting your names..to many spliffs going around! treetop gets up as he has a flight back to the uk to catch, was nice meeting ya man. then the rest of us continue a crawl around the city. nothing memorable was bought. sorry for the undetailed bits towards the end of my trip folks it got fuzzy.

day 7. dont remember a thing! lol i smoked a lot that day based on texts i sent to people at home

day 8. checked out of voyagers.could have booked another night but thought best to be closer to schipol. 2 last grams of exodus cheese. sit down and skinned up and got to talking to a guy from the uk about hip hop and rock n roll...two of my fave subjects. turns out it was none other than puffpuffgive from the forums. great chat man! jumped in the train and got off at schipol. booked a room at the ibis near the airport. decent place aside from having to pay €10 to watch regular tv . decided no reason staying at the hotel . wanted to finish my stash so ground up all my weed and hash in the grinder and made a lethal mix. skinned up 2 joints of it and smoked outside my hotel then jumped back on the shuttle to schipol and on the train from there. off the train and to voyagers. 1 gram exodus and 1 gram lemon bio haze. phoned gapie and he was already at grey area but was going to come back. smoked joints of both then gapie arrives. we go on another crawl and end at nes where we meet one of his friends and have a good chat. after several joints i meet epsilon. great guy..sorry we didn't get more time to chat man! hopefully next time! i give stan the rest of my weed/hash mix and head back to my hotel as it was about 2100 and i had an early flight home to catch the next day....or so i thought. to be continued.

sorry for the delay folks been busy.

last day: Friday/early saturday

wake up at 4 am at the ibis. get dressed. still dark out so i walk outside to smoke my last joint of the trip(or so i thought) quickly rolled up the last bit of lemon bio that i got from voyagers yesterday and walk outside. puff puff puff enjoying the spliff. i finish the joint all too soon. walk back up to the room. time to kill so i have a bite to eat then jump in the shower. re pack my bag. check my bag.backpack for any goodies i may have missed that could get me into trouble at us customs. nothing so i repack and make my way to the lobby to catch the 8 am bus to schipol. smoke a few cigs while waiting and make some small talk before getting on the bus. by this point although i enjoyed my time in dam i am ready to get home. i have school on Monday and don't wanna cut things to close. exit the bus. fuck! line at the ticket counter resembles something straight out of Disneyland in mid summer..oh well. check the board and my flight to Chicago is not listed..oh well must be a glitch. noticing people in the line are more stressed/irritated than usual. I'm about 1/2 way into the line when i start hearing people utter the word "cancelled" oh hell no. i stay in line even after i hear people say Chicago flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues. i get to the counter to see if this is true...sure enough it is. i walk out of line pretty irritated. i buy some internet to rebook a hotel. ibis is booked so end up having to book a hotel way out of my already dwindling budget. go outside and smoke a few cigarettes to calm down as im pretty pissed off. get checked into the hotel, dress in my street clothes. quickly ring up gapie . meet up at grey area ..sounds fine to me. hop back on the train and I'm back in dam. walk over to grey area its packed. so after a quick spliff outside with still smokin and a few back inside we leave for greenplace. had some lovely blueberry cheese and some so so "lemon og"(this is definitely not og). interesting convo takes place and spliffs are smoked. we then move on to a few shops..coffeeshop 137, my first visit to cs spirit then end the day at 420. nice last unplanned smokey day in dam. i take the train back to schipol and then take the bus to my hotel. nice early night and sleep.

wake up again 5 am to try again . flight is not cancelled today. fly though security . passport control tells me i may not get admitted to America when i land in Chicago as i am out of pages in my passport(which he says makes it invalid). not really worried. lady at security at the gate really gave me a hard time. used to the questions but this lady was questioning me for like 10 minutes . Lady: you look nervous, are you hiding something ? Me: no I'm nervous because im stuck here,running out of funds and your asking me questions that are designed to make people nervous. don't think she liked my honest answer because she did something in her computer and i got shit at us passport control and had my whole bag ransacked at us customs. made it home though, had 2 isle seats so nothing to complain about even though i did have to stay a night in Chicago. overall awesome trip! thanks for reading my report folks. some parts are lacking detail as i forgot some things. my apologies for this.

Sucks about the funds taking a hit, but there is still something romantic about an unplanned extra night in Amsterdam.

yea i cant complain. had an swesome last day there.sucked to only have 1 day of time zone adjustment in between school but no biggie. ended up catching a bad chest cold..caught it in dam i think but it didn't hit till i was home.

funds weren't gone. when i go on a trip i usually load my bank acct and preloaded cc with the money im bringing. i always set a certain amt of $ i'd like to come home with though. in this case i said i'd like to come home with 5-600 bucks for books and other things. just helps to have the extra trip funds left over. i think when all said and done i had $525 left on my pre loaded cc. so all was ok.
