DAY I
I took my flight from italy to dusseldorf weeze and i landed@13.20 after a calm flight with ryanair (with a really hot hostess on board). then shuttle transfert to nijmegen with taxi cox and finally a direct train to amsterdam. me and my girlfriend decided to visit Voyagers before being checked-in at the houseboat anna-maria II ( avoid this place if you can, rude people, poor breakfast, incredible small room, but at least it was clean,cheap and 5 minutes walking from the station).

1g Super Bio Lemon Haze - not as outstanding as always, average taste and high, maybe just an unlucky day.(6,5/10)
1g Og 18 - great nugs, great taste/smell and, of course, great hybrid buzz. (8/10)
After the check-in we went to albert heijn to buy water, sandwiches and cookies and then straight to The Green Place, the first
disappointment of the day.

1g Lemon og - Smelled insane in the tub and grinded but tasted chemically and with no effects at all (4/10)
2g Jack Herrer- Nothing special but good for that price (7 euros/gram).
1g Twizzla - Great hash with a taste that reminded me of honey and cinnamon. One of the best hash of my trip (8,5/10)
We drank our teas and we moved up to jordaan, to visit a favourite of mine, 1e Hulp. It was pretty crowded, with a busy but extremely nice budtendress.Really like this place 'cause you always find a seat and rizzla is one of the coolest cat in town. Great weed at great prices and super friendly staff.

1g Amnesia - This is one of the few places where i'm always sure to find a great example of this strain. This time was good as always, covered in crystals, perfectly cured and with an incredible long lasting taste. A classic, but one of the best weed of the trip. (9/10)
1g NYC Diesel - Very lemony and perfectly cured too, i enjoyed it a little bit less than amnesia but still a superb weed (8,5/10)
We stayed there 'till closing time then we came back to our houseboat to sleep (but not before smoking a fat joint with amnesia and twizzla near the Nemo)
DAY II
After a poor breakfast, we decided to take a walk to Harlemmerstraat, in order to visit Shainal Fashion (amazing selection but i'm not really convinced about the quality of glass) and for a quick buy&fly @ Greenhouse.
I've never seen this place so i was quite curious about it. Nice interior, great selection of food and drinks and gorgeous ladies at the bar. Asked to take a look at the super silver haze and the hawaian snow, but both looked crappy so the emo spanish budtender showed me some serious Rif cream(8/10), wich i bought immediately 'cause it looked very sticky and bright. really nice piece of moroccan hash.
We joined a friend of us that lives and works in Amsterdam, enjoyed the gram of rif cream on a bench with an amazing sight of the canal and moved up to Utopia, for another buy&fly. No Champagne haze on the menu, so i bought a gram of Casey Jones(7,5/10) that smelled really good and seemed solid. The budtender was very cool, with a huge beard (maybe nel?) and a deep voice. Casey Jones was not top notch but it was good for the price and i'm sure Utopia deserves more and more visits in my next trips.
We decided to have lunch at the pancake bakery but it was crowded as hell so we moved to Paradox, very close and with a super friendly budtender that always makes me feel at home. Bought 5 euros of Super Silver Haze (8,5/10) that looked amazing (very similar to the amnesia i bought at 1e Hulp),5 euros of Kandy Kush(6/10) that was average and 12 euros of oustanding Fingerhash(8/10). ordered two coffees and smoked everything before saying bye and catch a tram to the end of Overtoom, in order to buy something at the Boerejonges.
I think i had a bad timing 'cause everything i was interested for was shake, and they were out of white choco so i decided to buy a gram of ssg13 (7,5/10), nice taste and smell but very light effects, and a gram of Red Congo Berry(4/10) that seemed an interesting indica with a peculiar smell but it was shit, very harsh on the throat and whitout any taste/effect. Really disappointed this time.
Another tram and we reached De Pijp, mainly to visit Club Media. Asked to take a look at a lot of strains and finally decided to buy a gram of Hindu Kush (8,5/10) and a gram of Champagne Haze (9,5/10), both very very nice and tasty. The Champagne was hands off the best weed of the trip and one of the best sativas i ever had in my life, super lemony and with a great cerebral high. Then we went to Katsu, ordered 2 chocomel and smoke all the gear from Club Media. My friend bought a gram of orange bud at 8 euros, nothing special but good old school vibes.
After a short rest and a long smoking session @ our friend's house in the building next to Katsu, we decided to visit De graal, in order to buy some good hash. Bought a gram of Mexican hash(8,5/10), pricey but tasty as hell then we started feeling hungry and decided to stop at kfc on the way back. That day was our 5th anniversary
so we decided to celebrate with a 5g joint of Amnesia from 1e Hulp.diamonds are forever but that high seemed forever too (and i'm sure my gf liked more that present than everything else except mmm gerald butler naked and oiled?
).end of day 2.DAY III
Our last day in town, so we woke up early,left the boat and moved to dampkring in handboogstraat while enjoying a joint of hindu kush walking down the desert streets of a cold sunday morning (even if i don't like smoking on the streets in the city center 'cause i find it rude but hey, no one was there).
Dampkring was pretty empty, so i ordered 2 coffee dream that are basically coffee milkshakes with whipped cream, and bought a gram of mexican haze(5/10) that smelled interesting but was a fail, soft effects and average taste, and a gram of hash that i don't remember, moroccan grape or something like that, wich was quite good but i really can't rate it properly. Then we ate some sandwiches bought at Albert Heijn and went straight to the Grey Area at noon.
Crowded as always but after a 15 minutes wait i bought a gram of El Cid (9/10), very very tasty and strong, and a gram of Kosher Kush (4/10) that i didn't like at all, full of seeds, really harsh and with a strange taste. 16 euros is what you pay for the name IMHO but i have to admit that was the first time i smoked it, so maybe i don't like the strain itself.
Amnesia was almost empty during lunchtime, so we sit and bought a gram of lsd(8/10) that was lovely and a gram of pineapple chunk (6/10) that looked beautiful but lacked of any taste. We decided to have a last stop at 420 Cafè before our train to Nijmegen, so we ordered coffees and bought a gram of 420 haze (7,5/10), not the finest sativa around but really enjoyable, and a gram of morroccan red(7,5/10), light and soft piece of moroccan with a mellow buzz. Said bye to our friend and jumped on the train to nijmegen, where we smoked the last, big joint of el cid in a small green area next to the station, under the rain. After a brutal flight in the storm for almost 2 hours we were finally home, surprised by enjoying so much our gear left in the bedroom closet for the weekend.
