30/9/12 - 3/10/12 Amsterdam mini adventure
It's early, real early.
After the alarm went off at 3.30 this morning we're finally on our way to the airport to catch our early flight to Amsterdam. Anyway the roads are quiet and hopefully the m25 is deserted to allow us safe passage to Gatwick. Anybody else get up at stupid times just to go to the dam?
Anyway I only started this travelogue because its boring in the car and thought I'd get started
Further updates as they occur. I'm off to pester the mother in law to stop for a coffee.

Well we got here without any major drama's.
First stop was prix d'ami. Big Buddha cheese 11€ a gram. Was ok but I've had better. Bud tender seemed like couldn't be bothered, terrible service.
Just got to the botel so getting prepped to go out tonight to sample some more goodness

youre there right now? you lucky b'stard.
getting up at 3.30 is standard for us amsterdam fiends. worth it though, 'specially when you light up the first one, and you check your watch and realise all your mates at home are squashed onto the tube or sitting in rush hourtraffic right now
whats plan for tonight?

I was going to update last night but was too tired and went straight to sleep after getting in. Anyway what I sampled last night
Utopia
Grapefruit kush 13€ a g. Good smoke nice high not too much still managed to walk round the city taking in the sights and sounds.
Cafe het ouerwood
Pre rolled white widow 5€ not bad was pretty fresh can really taste the white widow. If the stuff in the tub is that then it's a good smoke
Hill street blues
1 gram northern lights 8€ a gram. Decent smoke nice flavour good indica stone
Then went wandering round the red light district as it is the first time the mrs has been to the dam. Not sure if it was quiet because it was Sunday but I did manage to see Ron Jeremy which was kind of the highlight of the day
Off to do some museums today so should have more to report on later.

Re: 30/9/12 - 3/10/12 Amsterdam mini adventure
Well better late than never to finish my travelogue.
My tab ran out of charge during my trip and now has been the first chance since got back to finish it.
I finished my last day with a joint of big bud cheese from het ouerwood. Not that impressed to be honest the high wasn't that great and was quite poor quality in regard to taste.
A bit disappointed i didn't get to voyagers but the girlfriend doesn't smoke and I didn't want to ruin her trip by spending all our time in coffee shops and having to deal with a useless stoned me, so had to take time out to go to the sex museum (which is well worth a trip) and Madame Tussaud's, and generally do some stuff that she wanted to do.
So my top 3 smokes of the trip were
1. Amnesia from utopia - nice strong high and sweet taste
2. Grapefruit Kush from utopia - nice high sweet citrusy taste and smell
3. White widow from het ouerwood
Well that's all for the smoke report.
