Late travelogue - August 2011 - Pics
Hi everyone !
Here's some pictures from my last year trip...
I have to thank Epsilon for enciting me to go to Harlingen and Leeuwarden after reading one of his travelogues...
It was good to change and see other places than Amsterdam !
Didn't find Leeuwarden very attractive, except for the Repelsteeltje Coffeeshop that has a great menu (got the outdoor aardbei that really smelled like strawberries) and a very nice and clean woody/cosy atmosphere...
But Harlingen was great... really strange little town... very nice typical architecture... everything very tidy, clean...
Reminded me of an episode of the twilight zone where a couple is taking a train...
First stop, then the train continues...
Second stop, they notice that it strangely looks like the previous station...
Third stop, they feel they're coming endlessly back to this same station so they decide to go out and see what's going on...
Nobody at the station...
No one in the streets...
The husband rests himself against a tree that falls under his weight... it's made of plastic...
Then they here a childish laughter and start running...
You then suddenly see a little girl in her room playing with here electric train on her miniature city map... tadaaaaaaaaa !!!
They have a coffeeshop named Hofnar where i got some nice red leb...
Back in Amsterdam i got some Barney's Tangerine dream and Rokerij Sour Diesel...
Both had a strong smell that i don't like too much (prefer the more natural smell of thai like weed)...
Why did i buy them ? cos' after reading about them i wanted to give em a try... but not my thing... too artificial and strong...
The Kali Mist from Greenhouse had a nice haze taste and a light happy high with no tiredness... loved it !
The Turkish from paradox got me a bit paranoid but had a nice taste and smell...
Now, the pics...

Thank you Craig !
Concerning the dolls i don't know if the color of the eyes whitened due to extensive sun exposure or if it's the owners attempt to make them spooky... which they surely are !
Found the twilight episode on youtube... it isn't exactly as i remembered...

!!) doesn’t grow in proper colas but more dense strawberries sized nugs (hence the name, I have been told, but who gives a s**t!!
).Doesn’t smell of strawberries fr the moment, we’ll see with a good cure, I’ll post a pic somewhere when done.

Hehe…also got some Eerbei drying at the moment.Classic swiss strain, easy to grow outdoor and really mold resistant (better be with the wet fall we have had so fargot the outdoor aardbei that really smelled like strawberries) and a very nice and clean woody/cosy atmosphere...
