At some point, I made the tourist stroll up Prinsengracht, undoing buttons and shedding clothes until hitting the base t-shirt layer. Hoofed through the Asokaplein, to the Haarlemmerbuurt, where I'm up and down the zonny side, natuurlijk.

Made a quick stop at de Mof to see what kinds of boerenzakdoeken they had. Nothing for me, so on toward the centrum. Skylarked around Nieuwendijk a bit, then down NZV, looking in and giving Ingi a wave as I passed Utopia. I figured to return later, so...onward, across the Dam and down Rokin.
Stopped at Studio Bazaar, tucked away on Reguliersdwarsstraat, near Vijzelstraat. It's by the Munt end of the Famous Fantabulous Foaming Florid Farcical Flaccid Floating Flower Markt

to see if they still had any of the good, German nylon shopping bags.
They DO

and some new ones, too.

This place has all kinds of neat supplies and gadgets for the keuken.
It's nearly four hours between known receipt times, and I'm not easily recalling where those hours went.
Did I stop at de Graal for a mind-eraser joint or two
Ended up back on the AC markt, where I purchase more textiles. After leaving Zeeman, I'm in the middle shopping lane (as opposed to the much faster storefront sidewalks) and encounter a familiar face walking his bike through the markt. It's ACD member lctricity, back in town for the annual Hip Forums Piggy American Queensday cruise and bash.
We first met in 2007, and I usually see him if I'm around in late April. We chat in the low, late day sunshine, and I mention having some farewell drinks at 't Nes later on, around 10pm. We part, and I'm off to make some more purchases - supplies from Jan, and more boerenzakdoeken from De Boerenbonthal, conveniently right across 'de cuyp' from Jan. Bought some two days earlier, red with black polka dots, and have returned to get a few more. Laden with textiles, it's a long wait for a tram 3 or 12 back to the apartment to unload and have something to eat.
Weird-ass tramage saw two tram 25s come through the 3/12 route

during the long pause between normal traffic.
After dinner, the empty beverage bottles were gathered and returned to AH Elandsgracht, from whence they came. Combined statie fles adds up to something like €3.

This is normally done the morning of departure, so this trying-to-stay-ahead-of-the-game move turns out to be a good
More hours lost, but it's generally thought that most of my remaining time is spent between Utopia and 't Nes.
At 't Nes, I inform UR of tomorrow's 8am clearance time. Still a few members around, with Trad and Big guy having a final night about as well.
Just before 9pm, I'm ready to walk over to Utopia, and Gapie joins me. A quick stop at Dam Square Souvenirs for a klompje, and it's the final smoke at Utopia. It's nice that Jessica's working, as I get to thank her for the cherry coke that left for me in the shop fridge.

Now THAT'S service, when the staff PERSONALLY caters to your taste.

Hell, I was certainly impressed

All from a conversation had last October. I've found a personableness at Utopia, that I think some others have as well. It's
Got some nice photos in the shop, especially the inside-out window shot that's wallpaper on my mobile, and shots of the tubs and newly-acquired hardware.
Gapie thinks he's going to drag me to Voyagers on his way home, but that doesn't happen. No plans to do that. The plan for me, is back to 't Nes for more drinks and to smoke down the rest of my holdings. It's a lot closer than Voyagers.

I somehow

acquire a previous version of the Utopia menu sheets as a parting gift. Dank u wel!
Back at 't Nes, it turns into somewhat of a Pig roast, as yogibear is there, and lctricity shows up around 11pm. Wow, things are fuzzy after that. Pretty sure that there was a stop at Leidsestraat McRat for another round of fish fillet and fries for take-away, returning home to begin smoking und packing. Ugh.
