Great report

Muiderslot castle conquered, after a long, frigid boat ride to Muiden. We had no idea where to go and get this boat, invariably walked the wrong way off the tram, but recovered to see the boat leaving. There was grandma and two kids looking for the boat as well. The operators must have noticed us and delayed their departure for their only five passengers. Had to wait out a 15 minute canal lock transfer each way, making it around an unbelievable hour on the boat. One of the boat operators mentioned that they are looking for a dock outside the locks to avoid these waits. Good plan.

Muiderslot castle is old and neat, but it's been kid-proofed into a field trip destination. There was a falconry demonstration, gardens and a maze that we didn't check out. Nearly interrupted the falconry as we returned from examining a rough bronze sculpture of a joust, located on a tiny, wind-blown plain. Had a wee smoke on the plain, as the wind was blowing the right way, and the setting was quite relaxing. Cows, horses, farmlands, wetlands, river. Far away from the bustle left behind in Amsterdam. Loved it.

Met at Voyagers prior to leaving. Gapie and GDSean were there. HB and Debo, too.

This reminded me of when you said how the last couple of days were going to happen - Spireax leaves, couple days later James bids adieu, then a couple more it's your turn.
That apartment is going to seem bigger tomorrow with only the Nimrod in residence. strange wording - i'm oiled...

Nimrod and myself are on the way to haesh claes for stampot. Then we'll stop in at Utopia on our way to Anyday for a smokeout upstairs on the vaporizers. Yep we filled the whole verdamper room above any day with 8 people or so
