I've fallen a bit behind on the travelogue, but been having a great time wandering around the city, taking photos and smoking, eating & drinking. I'm planning to write up a better summary and more detailed review of the strains I have tried on my flight home on Monday. Here are some photos of the smoke picked up on Thursday.

Vanilla Kush - Barney's

Much nicer than the batch from last April. This reminds me of the first time coming across this strain in October 2010. Lovely smoke, but best left for evening consumption.

Twizzla - Green Place

Lovely batch of Twizzla. I have always lucked out with this hash. Fresh, soft and lovely aroma and effect. Much better than the Zooltjes from earlier in the week. I really love this hash.

My week in Amsterdam flew by in a blur. I am back home now and have reflected a bit on the strains sampled during this visit.

The standouts for me were the Grapefruit Krush from Utopia, G13 x Amnesia from 1 e Hulp, Champagne Haze from Club Media and the Vanilla Kush from Barney's. On the Hash side, the Twizzla from Green Place was (again) the clear favorite.

I spent quite a few hours smoking joints then wandering around taking photos. Here are some shots of graffiti, street art, signs, etc.

Let's not forget about the canals.

This shot was taken as my tripod was slowly tipping over. Fortunately, the Moose was paying attention and made a grab before the camera hit the ground or tumbled into the canal.

and a shot of Amnesia Coffeeshop across Herengracht.

I always enjoy all the plaques and gargoyles on the buildings. I didn't bring any long lenses on this trip, so could only shoot stuff that was relatively close.

Wow! nice report and really great selection of photos, made me feel i was there. Your close ups are not too bad at all, they must be  with your macro lens. Thanks!
