Not long been, but I need to get back there already.
I have been 3 times (Jan, Mar, Oct...) never Cannabis Cup...
...So should I go for the Cup in a few weeks?? Or the week before?? Week after??
Not interested in the Cup really, so would it affect our time there much?
Cheers if you can suggest anything.
When should I go?
Re: When should I go?
Can't help there, I'm afraid, but the brown jacket suits you better than the black one.
Re: When should I go?
Basically it's either the CC week or week before/after...
I don't know how different Dam is during CC and whether it would be worth going then...
...The week after would be fine but then would it be a bit crap that week?

Re: When should I go?
Crap, as in the weather? Will be more of the same - wind, sun, clouds, rain, cold, more wind...
I've only been once during the cup and the shops are busier, especially those participating.
With that being said, if you arrive just after the cup, sampling the entries and doing your own judging is an option.
It should be less hectic after the 26th because most out-of-town stoners will have left.

Re: When should I go?
if your worried about a drop in smoke quailty or atmosphere directly after the cup... dont.
ive been 9 out of 10 novembers in the last decade, never in cup week, plus various augusts, mays, febs, etc. and theres no difference. its always good.
i do avoid the cup though, as some shops will be busier, and some hostels will be full. but i dont see the shops not involved being any different. some people love the cup week, ive always avoided, if you wanna do it youll have fun and find good smoke and bad smoke, as always.

Re: When should I go?
plus, if you hold back a few weeks, and go in the weeks beofre christmas its amazing too. if you get a crisp cold clear night, walking around stoned and warm under a jacket and scarf amongst all the christmassy touirsts and lights is brilliant. cold beers, tasty spliffs, outdoor heated tables, and exhaling giant plumes of breath and smoke.
