Hey guys,

I'm from England, been Amsterdam twice now, going again next week (26th - 29th Oct), always used this website before all my trips especially for their very useful Map! Decided to sign up this time, why not?

Gotta say I love Green House, Barney's and Dampkring due their selection of weed, also like Abraxus and Bluebird! Would like to Grey Area properly, I say properly because I went there on my last trip but it was so busy I just walked back out, any suggestions for this time when I go?? Also any other places I really must go to? Any suggestions on strains? Especially sativas!

Looking forward to speaking to everybody, and very warm hello to you all! :)

Hi MrFehr,

If you find Grey Area is open when you reach it, count yourself lucky. I've turned up there many a time to find it shut! Indeed it is one of the smaller c/shops and the queues can get big but this is just a reflection of the fact they have some of the best weed in town. It's well worth the wait imo. If the queue's out the door and you don't fancy waiting in the cold/rain you can always pop into Amnesia c/shop which is just around the corner and wait for the queue to die down.

I am a fan of Bluebird too! If you head towards nieuwmarket square from there you'll find the c/shop Green Place which is also well worth a visit. Also recommend visiting Voyager's and Utopia. You can find them all on the main map.

Have a blast next weekend dude!

Hi Delta9,

Sounds like I gotta go Grey Area then, even just to stop in and grab a bag if no seating is available!

Green Place and Utopia look like a worthwhile visit, Voyager's is a bit out of the way for me but if I'm ever near there I might just pop in.

Thanks for your input, any recommendations on what to buy in these places?

Voyagers is only a 10min walk from either GP or Utopia  and Utopia is definitely worth a visit along with trying their Grapefruit Krush :D

Utopia: Agree with MrSifter about the grapefruit krush, wonderful strain!

Grey Area: Silver Bubble, OG18, Grey Crystals

Green Place: Assortment of Kush varieties - if you're in luck they may have their new cup entry on the menu. Their chocolope is of a consistent quality and good value too. Twizzler hasj is also good here, the maximello hasj is okay too but is more taste than affect imo.

of course the menu's are always subject to change, so you can ask the BT for their suggestions and recommendations.

Enjoy...

Grapefruit Krush sounds like a must then!

Will also try a few strains out in Grey Area, dunno what I'll do in Green Place, just have to wait and see I guess.
