volcano questions now with hash vaping working well

hi I got a vape (classic with solid valve) last friday, and been havin fun testing in since but still have some questions. How much do you push down the plunger? is it best to pack it hard? I have a real high tolarance just now so I can not really experiment. So what do you lot think?

Also I found number 6 seems right for me but the mrs likes 7 and whats the liquid pad like to use?

I like about 5mm of fill in my Volcano (weed rather than hash), plunger just resting on it.

Could never get great results with the liquid/hash nests.

Thanks Rob, I tried some oil on the wirewool disc pad thing, it worked ok, I had the heat set at 6.5.

I have just got baked on some vaped hash at last, I was having problems getting a satisfying hit from hash, so I placed some old vaped bud onto the bottom screen, I then got a bit of homemade ice bubble hash, this is quite sqidgy stuff so I got a new turkey bag and laid it on a hard surface and then placed blobs of hash on the bag, then I folded the bag over the top and rolled a rolling pin over them. I ended up with 4 very flat pancakes of hash that peeled away from the plastic real easy. I then just laid them on top of the old bud and vaped it on 8............and now toasted nice

Just been vaping the stuff that collects inside the bag and wow, I cut up a used bag, there was a good build up near where the bag meets the valve so I cut this part up into little strips and jus stuck it in the fill and vaped it 3 times on number 6. the 3rd bag was strongest. The high I got was very clean and much stronger then I get off weed.
