Denver Post Opinion article pushing "threat to the community" propaganda. Don't worry now that it's legal parents are going to light up in front of their kids.

Will secondhand pot smoke harm Colorado children?
By DP Opinion

Now that marijuana use is legal in Colorado, one of my chief concerns is the impact this has on children. Is it legal today for adults to smoke marijuana within the confines of a home when children are present? I strongly believe that exposing children to secondhand marijuana smoke is a form of child abuse that should be vigorously prosecuted under existing child welfare laws. Must we wait to protect children in their own homes until the governor’s task force issues its rules next year?

Based on the photos I have seen of pot smokers exercising their newfound right, I certainly do not feel we can rely on the good judgment or common sense of people such as this to place the welfare of children over their desire to recreationally alter their mental state.

There is going to be some rocky times ahead guys, all kinds of "stoners are their own worst enemy" stuff will happen the first of which will be the market for out of staters. That'll really get em jumping. Deep breath  :| Tailbacks at the state lines on a weekend? Join the Highway Patrol kids, a job for life and plenty of pot.
What a long strange trip it is.

Until dconstrukt links us to an article I'm just going to assume he read something out of context. I've read plenty of articles that said the feds could do something, but haven't seen anything about the feds actually saying they're going to do something. If the feds had said something there would be articles plastered all over Yahoo, MSN, and Google.

What are the Feds going to do??? Go door to door checking for grow spaces ...no , I don't think so......bust large grow ops? Maybe but they do that already.........this is going to go the way of past prohibitions,,, it may take ten years to end the Feds interference ,but it will happen .....
Next California will fall as well as Massachusetts , maybe even more.....

The Feds have been sucking that war on drugs tit for decades and they will not go peacefully into the night, but voters rule in the end, if they remain steadfast.

Hey bong, not that it really bothers me or anything, but just kinda curious why you seem to relish in seeing legalization fail? I remember a couple of years ago when California was voting on legalization you were going on about how the market was going to flooded with crap weed and how the system would suck and you seem to be going on about the same kind of stuff this time around. I've never seen you say anything negative about this kind of stuff when it comes to Amsterdam and I'm sure you wouldn't take this kind of attitude if the Dutch government were moving in to close down your favorite shops in Amsterdam. So what gives?

Bong thinks he's the first one to tell us the Feds are going to get involved in some way sooner or later. He's fucking clairvoyant.

Any reason to cast doom and gloom on a bold move by sensible voters Bunglord?

I just found a stash of vintage collectible Zip Lock bags filled with AAA bud. I'll leave the bud in them and sell the bags for $200.00 each. Didn't you always really want a vintage collectible Zip Lock bag? These are the real deal. Made by Johnson, a family company, Ziplock brand, not some cheap imitation. Rumored to come from the collection of Snoop Lion or some other famous vintage collectible Zip Lock bag collector. Anyway, if you're in Colorado or coming soon let me know if interested.

Well a bit of common sense says the old bag vintage bag he is talking about have a max capacity of 4 fingers. Why would milehigh only get you a halfmile high? Wouldn't make sense.
