Hi, I will arrive in Amster in about 10 days now.

I am really curious to try the Ice-O-Lator hash but because of the sick prices on this I want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off and go to the right place. So basically the question is which place got the best or a really good ice hash, and since this is my first trip which coffeeshops should I avoid(except bulldog)?

I'd recommend amnesia ice from club media, maroc cheesolator from bushdocotor and PP ice from Betty boop

In my opinion a decent Moroccan hash will do just as nicely as ice-o-lator and for a fraction of the price. Even if both were similarly priced I would still prefer the top quality Moroccan more than half the time.

However, if you are a sativa junky, then you might really enjoy the pure sativa ice-o-lators, but be prepared to pay Euro 60+ per gram for that stuff. I tried Grinspoon ice a few days ago (Prix d'Ami), and that was truly amazing.

Also remember it goes by different names in various coffeeshops. Some call it isolator (even though thats a whole different extraction using isopropyl), some call it Bubble Hash (also slightly different extraction) and some call it Pollinator hash (dry extraction, but can be as strong as the best ice or bubble if sieved through the smallest micron drums).

Isolater and Bubble are the same thing , cold water extraction


Isopropanol extraction is called QWISO

i reckon if you have plenty of money to burn check out the bushdoctor. loads of different types but all very dear. remember working in some bacci to a blob i bought there so i could handle it with my fingers. whilst i was smoking the joint i realised that my finger tips had gone numb(from where i had been handling the hash). Try barneys triple zero that has a good kick to it, but im in the same frame of mind as the dude a couple of post ago, a very good maroc will come very close and at a quater of the price

25euro for 1g is not so pricey for an iceolator and it was really nice

Yeah I know the mexi ice is around that mark, but if the fellas after the best they come at a heavy price, in fact they are in the price range of gold around €50/g!!! And that wax stuff at €95/g from bushdoctors f#¥$?hell!!! Water works from dampkring around the €50 mark is meant to have a good rep.

Waterworks (the indica based, mid-range one €40 - €50/g) is one of the top hashes I've ever smoked in Ams. The quality does vary but overall it's always decent.

The best example I ever purchased was about a week prior to the cup in 2010; potent, sticky, oily goodness. It's the only thing I've smoked where I was still feeling the effect the following morning. It's pretty weird the first time you experience it but then you grow accustomed to the floaty feeling when you wake up and you just end up walking around with a huge smile on your face

I'd recommend purchasing it from the original Dampkring and not the one on Harlemmerstraat or from Twede Kamer.

bushdoctor has some crazy ice-o-later.

its like 50 euros a gram.

its strong as FUCK. (especially when you smoke it in a chillum.

club media amnesia ice .

Club Media amnesia Ice wins overall for me in terms of strength and value for money (25e)
Amber from the blue bird was crazy strong about two months ago but didn't seem so strong last week
The jelly hash from Birdys in Haarlem is nice if you can bothered getting the train there

If you don't know much about this type of hash I would avoid Bush Doctor
and don't bother getting any powdery ICE
