I think it's fair to say that I am absolutely gutted that I am now home. Got home a few hours ago and already missing it.

Such a beautiful city and even though I was there for 5 days, I don't think it was nearly long enough.

Had thought about going for New year but flights are ridiculous.

We always feel this way when we leave no matter if it's 3 day or 7 day trip. The price for the flight is exactly was keeping us away this year - sad but true! I envy the ACDs in UK - much easier for them than it is for US travellers

i've gotten there from fla for 600 and taxes.

you can get there if you want, you just need to be creative and use that thing in between your ears a bit

I check the flights all the time from DC Metro area/Phila and never seem to find anything under 1k - If we found a $600 flight we'd be on it in a heartbeat! Let me know if you see one!

i did it last year.... left @ 10:30pm on xmas night (no big deal right?)... arrived the next morning.... and the NYE festivities begin

The least expensive day to buy tickets is Tuesday afternoon EST to Wednesday.

flights from ireland to amsterdam are no more than 100 euro and im there in an hour..pretty sweet
