Post by Roxie »

Hi all, been browsing for a few months now but finally decided to bite the bullet & register.. I'm heading to Dam next month for my first time, group of four of us going just hoping snow stays off & our flights don't get cancelled. Anyway, will keep it short & sweet :)

ps. thanks for the activation Lemming 8)

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Welcome :D :D.

Wrap up warm for your winter trip, the east wind can whistle round those canals like a banshee .
What a long strange trip it is.

Round my parts they would call it a 'lazy wind' cos it can't be botherede to go around you it goes right through into your bones!

Anyhow welcome to the forum and don't worry about the cold. I'd say as cold as Scotland but the wind is worse. Besides there are lots of fun indoor activities in Mokum to stay out of the wind. 8)
How much did you produce?
