Hey guys, my name is Dorien, I'm from Holland.
I've lived in Leeuwarden for almost 20 years and now I'm studying Artificial Intelligence in the lovely city of Groningen.
I registered here because this seems like a nice forum and I would like to share my experiences from here with you guys!
Besides computers, I really like sleeping, playing the guitar and going to the pub with friends.
I've also grown up amongst dogs (smooth collie and vizsla, my favourite breed), but now I have none as I am really busy and live in a small apartment.

Welcome to the forum. What is the coffeeshop scene like in Gronigen?

It's all right.
I've only lived here for a couple of months now, there's a couple of nice shops here but I like those in Leeuwarden much better.
The quality is worse in here too, but still better overall than in cities like Amsterdam or Utrecht.

What strains do you like to smoke?

That's easy: Repelsteeltje.
Smoked it for the first time three years ago, then it disappeared.
Now it's back after two years, a little less strong but still really nice.
I also like Sneeuwwitje, Red Diesel, Amnesia and Powerplant.
I almost never smoke hash, sometimes I buy hash pralines, very strong and you can also make hot chocolate with it, that's really awesome.

I was in Leeuwarden very recently, and I've been meaning to write up my travelogue, but I feel I really have to do justice to this amazing place. I'll be going back at some point, so anything you'd like to share would be welcome. And about Groningen, of course, as I should probably visit it at some stage.

@fscrissey420, the only shop in which I've encountered them so far is Taverne Oasis in Groningen.
Tastes really awesome and 2 pralines have about the same effect as one slice of good spacecake.
Costs about 8 euros for 5 pieces if I remember correctly.
You can easily make things like that yourself, hash goes really really well with chocolate.

heh I've got some shit weed at the moment that needs cooking. Will have to try a cake type dish but I'm lactose intolerant so I might be out of luck.

You could also just make a weed omelette.
When I have shitty weed I like making small princess cupcakes for my friends, with pink glitter. Tastes really good
