North of the IJ

Post by Spaldwickapeface »

So I am in Amsterdam next week and I have a day on my own on the Saturday before the football in the evening. As I have never been to North Amsterdam during my many stays I figure it's about time to change this. I was wondering if there are any nice cafes to settle down for a cup of tea and a biff while I am over there? I will have my bike with me so I can venture quite far, any ideas guys?
Cheers

If you want to break free of the urban growth boundary, Broek in Waterland's a short ride beyond, with a nice pannekoeken restaurant...
