Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Hello all,

I will be making my first trip to Amsterdam this weekend and I could not be more excited. I get in early Friday and leave Monday morning. 4 of us going - 2 rookies and 2 have been once before about 10 years ago. Staying at Renaissance Marriott.

Been reading all over this site for suggestions on best shops to visit. I imagine all the weed will be pretty amazing but I am interested in places with the best ambiance. Suggestions are welcome. From reading reviews I am interested in checking out: Grey Area, Voyager, bluebird, Katsu, 420, Green Palace, and Paradox among a few others. Am I missing any good one? Suggestions?

Can't get there fast enough....thank you in advance for your advice.

i would skip 420 and grey area ,
and add Club Media and De Graal ( both within 5minute walk from katsu)


not really into greyarea cause its such a small place.
420 is okay , but idk

Grey Area has such a great selection of weed that it is too good to skip. Small shop sure, but nowt wrong with buying and flying.

Just realized how far Katsu is from my hotel. It appears this shop will be removed from the list

Any other suggestions in the central area near the Rennaisance hotel?

shouldn't remove it...Amsterdam is small, you can walk almost everywhere...I did, when living there for three months in 2009, and it was october to end of december, and many days were quite cold...but is such a pleasure to go to those local shops like Katsu, Club Media and De Graal, shouldn't be missed...imvho

De Graal and Club Media are outstandingly good and more than worth the trip out.

Siberie and Paradox close to hand , - as well as Spirit (though not done the latter) for short walks from Centrum)

Personally impressed with Abraxas and Resin ....

I am going to do my best to visit Katsu - Club Media Etc.

Any other favorites out there I should be sure to hit??
