Yes I know what's been said, I read the news too - but that's not what this thread is about.

This thread is about peoples confidence in all the rhetoric from the Dutch politicians. I was trying to gauge whether people actually trust that nothing will change. Nevermind.

I`ve usually already booked my May trip by now & leave my Aug/Sept trip `til then & no, nothing booked yet & unless the weed pass is abolished I can`t see me ever going again. Shame, but without weed the Amsterdam I fell in love with years ago is gone.

No, not never mind... you started another thread on the wiet pass albeit in an indirect approach, so you gotta stay put... please? :)
I think you can gauge peoples confidence by the responses received so far, not to mention a little light reading elsewhere.
I'm the type that has accepted the "fact" that cannabis is illegal and only tolerated in The Netherlands. At a moments notice, the government could order the immediate closure of all coffee shops, seed companies, and basically all things cannabis (not hemp). My options are limited mainly because I'm not a Dutch Citizen (voting rights), but what I can do I have been doing from the very first time I made a purchase in a coffee shop. Until such time as I am refused entry, I will continue to support the coffee shop culture (cannabis culture) the best way I know how, spend my money buying their products and spreading the "kind" word.
As for my confidence with any politician on any subject, I don't have any. Point Blank!
Once again, would I book for next year? Yes, I've booked two trips already.
I hope this gives you the confidence you seek (perhaps?) to book for next spring.
