I spend 50-70 euro a day when in Amsterdam (not including hotels) and that is enough to keep me stoned most of the day as well as covering meals. But I'm a lightweight (never more than 1-2 grams per day) and a devout FEBO man, and don't drink much either.

This question got me thinking a bit more about the next trip, sometime in 2013, and how long I could afford to stay there.

It cost me $1k just for airfare so the least time I have went to Amsterdam for was 8 nights, the average is 12 nights and my last trip was 15 nights, If I'm paying a grand to get there then Im definatley staying for awhile.
Since I go for longer trips I find I dont need as many euros as I stay in an apartment evey time and go to AH for groceries for most meals. I do always hit up all the favs like DeKlos ribs, Cafe Loetje steaks, Burger Bar, Walk to Walk, Pizza etc.
I smoke around 5-7 grams a day and only spend a day or two in centrum, I save alot of euros and get some top shelf by going to outer shops.
I allocate 120 euros a day but usually only spend about 100 euros average.

Slip and sal.....I'm not sure you understood my post.....I don't pay 20 $ a gram....and never said I did....no where in my post does it say 20$..it says 25 for isolater hash( average)

Now that's rolling PHAT treetop. (1000$ a day). I've never tapped a prozzie in the RLD but it sounds fun...

To me, this is such an individual issue that it's barely worth discussing.
To each there own according to their requirements and budget!

Around 3-4 hundred euros a day...that way there's no worries

So i assumed you thought it was right to spend 300 euro a day mostly on weed and since you said you smoked ten grams a day, most being spent on weed would be equal to around 200 euro a day. What would you say you actually spent on weed?

Also I wanted to see pics of 10 grams of weed a day. Even if you went for 4 days, 40 grams would be good pictures????

Yes and my post said 300 euros a day should cover what you need unless u like expensive hash..... 1000 a day seems like a lot but amsterdam is all about excess....

Although I appreciate being labeled a medium weight stoner, thanks Veggie, when compared to others I'm somewhere in the Micro-weight category.
I spaced and forgot to write the amount I guesstimate spending daily, I suppose 90-100 per day is about right.
Takes the guess work out of why my visits are short, although frequency makes up for it.
Damn, I'm the same with alcohol as well, 10-15 Euros (MAX), and that's if I'm thirsty.
100 (gear) + 15 (drink) + 60 (food) = a cheap date in Amsterdam.

I spent roughly £200 a day on weed and food, everything else was paid for.......im a greedy boy haha

On my first dozen trips I tried to smoke it all. I now know how high I can get :-)

As that is no longer my goal, I will spend close to €100, maybe less.

My routine is to stop first @ 420 and pick up some Blueberry. Last April I got a beautiful 3g bud intact. I roll one, smoke a bit of it, put the unfinished joint in a plastic tube and carry on. Throughout the day I will pick a gram here and there of whatever interests me.

I can spend quite a bit on barleypop (aka bier :-), particularly at Nes. The €3 bottle (pint) of Grolsch is tops in my book.

Overall, €150 daily to eat, drink and smoke as much as I care to.

It's interesting. I myself am looking more for a happy fuzzy haze and tend to shop accordingly. Usually around 30 euros a day for gear,30 for food, and around 40 for whatever. Also keep in mind I use an iolite which means I use less, don't eat meat , and only ish drink.

tried saving on hotel one year by camping well Turned out the camp sie triple prices on weekend and ended up costing more...then staying in centrum food price are stupid for very high people whom got money to wast...its why 2/3 meals come from supermarket :O Call me cheap i dont care most of ya coming from over the pond and not spending 800$ just getting there

i did a 4 day trip 11/2011- brought 800Euro... 250 for rent, then weed, weed, hash, hash, t-shirts etc museums etc... ate from the market alot, souveniers for the kids.. . needed an extra 100 Euro for the last night.. bought 2 cakes from basjoes, 2 from HSB, frits, bottle of absinthe .. ( shipped it home) and had 5 euro left when I got on the plane.. BUT i did take a modest approach.. I could have easily spent 300Euro per day if you count on using a scooter etc.. I used the shoeleather express.. ( never do that again) !!
