Hello, I go to amsterdam again for the 5th time in two years, on 18 to 22 January, but I have a plan to visit Brussels as I have family there, my question is whether it is advisable to buy train tickets tgv europe for internet or buy directly at the station? I saving money that way? a greetings!

If you're booking a round trip ticket then you can get cheaper fares if you book in advance on the Brussels-Amsterdam line. The cheapest ones are non-refundable and can't be changed.

You have been posted on the January Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.

The TGV does not run to Brussels from Amsterdam. You either have to take the Thalys or Fyra. The Fyra is 25 euro for single ticket if booked at least a week in advance. Sometimes you can get the Thalys ticket cheap too but it would need to be booked several weeks in advance. See http://www.thalys.com or http://www.nshispeed.com

While the Thalys is part of the TGV system, the Thalys runs Ams-Bru-Par not the TGV. Isn't it best not to confuse people and have them looking for the wrong train at CS?
