I need some help

I'm going to be in Amsterdam for the first time January 1 till the 4th. I am going to partake in the local goods, but have a little issue. I get a drug test at work once a month. If I test positive then I lose my job. I need to find out what I can do to flush my system befor I go back to work on January 11. If I posted this in the wrong place Sorry.

there are alot of things you can buy that claim to clear your system, i have NO idea whether they work or not though, but on websites like www.everybodydoesit.com ( i think thats the right link) im sure they sell that sorta thing

If it is an unsupervised test (most are), meaning you take the container to the loo, fill it, and bring it back, then substitution is the way to go. You'll need to make sure the clean urine is at body temperature.

Don't chance smoking your brains out with a piss test a week later. That's just not smart IMO. But if you must, substitution is clearly the way to go.

what rez said..aint no way...to put it bluntly...you would be screwed for at LEAST a month....and after a trip to a-dam even more....my sugestion is quit your job...it getting in the way of you havin fun...so far they arent pissing us electricians,and we are 20 stories in the air smoking in the spot a pot..jus sayin...hehehehe..im stoned...ill stop..lol

Are you sure that you will have to give a sample on the 11th? The way I used to get around that problem was to make sure I was pissing clear (usually by drinking a lot of fluids and pissing several times) before I pissed in the bottle. Unfortunately, the testers figured out that one and started checking the specific gravity of the samples when the were turned in. I have friends who swear by some over the counter products (like Gold Seal), but I have never used them myself. Most of them taste really nasty from what I have been told.

The test I will have is one that you can buy at any local drug store. So it shouldn't be to hard to beat they don't check the temprature so I'm thinking the substitution is the way to go. It is a crazy company policy that the test everyone when we go to work. Which turns out to be once a month. I'm at work for 2 weeks then have 2 weeks off. Hopefully everything works out.

MY BS METER IS GOING OFF...jus saying...a store test?..no company uses a store test..you go into the clinic or wherever the insurance compny sends you...just wondering what kind of company you work for..sorry if im off base here..but....

No we don't go to a clinic. I work in the Gulf of Mexico on an oil rig. When I go to work I have to fly out on a helicopter, and am out at sea for 2 weeks a month. At the heliport they have a room set up for drug tests and breathilizers. The use the tests like the ones you can buy at any drug store which give an instant reading. If you test positive then you are fired on the spot.

It's not worth it, unless you are absolutely positive you can substitute without problem.

you have a great job then...why take a chance...you wont pass with a store test..3 days 10 days or 20 days..you need a month off at least..fake piss is your answer..or get someone who doesnt smoke do it for ya...you are taking A BIG CHANCE...good luck with your choice my friend...

I can substiute without a problem. You are given a paper cup and head off to a singlr toilet bathroom. No one is in there, so no problem. Munchies and full lungs here I come. Only 2 months till I get to the DAM.

I can't understand this. You havn't broken the law in any way (by smoking in Dam], and by that they shouldn't be able to fire you. At least that's the case here I think. Might not apply to all jobs, as there might be a moral issue, but that would mostly concern policemen, politicians, army etc.
But as long as your not stoned AT work, they should have no worries.

It's like if I get confronted with the police stoned out of my brains, they just have to let me go as long as I'm not carrying. It's not illegal to be stoned, possesion is illegal. And you havn't been caught in possesion, so your job should be safe.

Might be different laws other places, dunno. If this makes no sense, just ignore me as I'm stoned out of my brains :p
