i agree with your point jackie........unfortunately most companies just don't see it that way thanks to years or propaganda and lawyers.
and if you think that is messed up....we have laws in several US states now that make DRiving Under the Influence of Drugs a felony....and how do they determine if you are under the influence? blood, hair, or urine drug test. So under these laws, i could smoke a bowl today not touch weed again for three weeks then get pulled over for speeding and be asked to submit to a drug screening, weed would show up and i would have a felony DRUID charge!!! land of the FREE .....yeah right
back on topic.....I would never work for a company that did mandatory drug testing, just based on the morals of it.
Well I think it's not due to the illegality of the drug, I think it's because of the resulting motor function impairment, I'm sure they'd fire anyone who showed up drunk. =P They just don't fully understand the drug do to the convoluted laws that exist around teh job.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, if the guy works on an oil rig with a mission critical job, they're gonna make sure he's in good working condition to their standards.
Your right people don't understand the drug. But also the company I work for tries to controll what you do in your off time. I hopefully will be out of here soon. But I'm going to take the chance and smoke myself stupid while I'm in Amsterdam. Anyone want to join me?
Hello, I used the Gold Seal in 2002 for a summer job that I had to take a drug test for. I was smoking along with consuming various other substances up to the night before the test, and passed with flying colors.
You drink it at least an hour before you take the test and you will know when it begins to work. You will not be able to stop peeing and it will be very clear, like you've drunk lots of water. I have heard that some test for masking agents so there is still some risk, but, if your drug test is like mine then it will work.
Well I found my solution. I smoked a good amount last week, and then did a Niacin flush. After 2 days I came up clean. Thank god for water, Niacin, and Amsterdam.

Am I correct in thinking that there is not yet a test for weed that can differentiate between a joint smoked 2 hours ago or a joint smoked 2 weeks ago?
not exactly......quality govt type tests give exact 'levels' of THC (or other 'imputirty') so anyone with common sense and a little bit of logic can look at the levels and the person in question and determine that. Obviously your levels will be slignifcantly lower after two weeks (completely gone in some individuals), but if the person reading the results wants you to be 'positive' then ultimately you will be.
the cheaper test are much more yes or no depending on the minimum level requirement.
