Sorry to hear about your Dad...
Rick Simpsons Oil? This is nothing more than L-WISO (Long Wash [with heat] Isopropyl) extract, no special technique or method.
It's dangerous, poisonous, and dirty, especially in the hands of novices.

As far as I know, you will not find what you are looking for in a coffee shop, as has been stated. In my opinion, it's easy to make.
What your Dad might benefit more from is tincture of cannabis.

sorry to hear dude.

lost my dad to cancer.

my mom beat it last year.

its a bitch. I'd look to alternative treatments to boost his immune system, which is critical with the treatments he's getting, also make sure he eats a lot cuz he will lose weight.

Actually, I have never read about cannabis as a cure for cancer. It is well known for its ability to help with the nausea associated with chemo and it helps keep the appetite going so people keep eating. Plus the right stuff should be able to help with pain.

I'd recommend browsing through some of the medical marijuana websites for more information.

Wayne,

I know you're probably trying to gather as much information as you can in an effort to help, and while I do believe in some forms of holistic treatment, the best course of treatment is going to be based on the staging of the carcinoma. Based on what stage the carcinoma is in and whether there has been any metastasis, treatment could range from aggressive CHOP therapy in conjunction with radiation to something more pallative for not only him, but for you as well. I urge you strongly to join a local support group to not only become more informed as to the various forms/ staging of carcinomas, but also as to just what the best course of treatment could be. I've seen too many patients go through what can only be described as a living hell, only because their family was convinced they could beat the disease if we'd only try something they read about in Reader's digest.

In summation, listen to the diagnostic specialist...then get a second opinion. Based on the staging of the carcinoma and weather there has been any metastasis, your father may very well be able to at least go into remission and live many more productive years. Every form of carcinoma sucks, but he may be dealing with one which can be treated by a combination of holistic/ modern medicine resulting in as favorable an outcome as can be expected.

For what it's worth...I have seen vent patients in CCU/ICUs who have beaten the odds and recovered through what I can only describe as devine intervention. I'm available for any questions you may have, but the best source of information is going to be the lead specialist taking care of your Dad. I wish you and your father the best.

Dave

Thanks Dave
Diet is crucial now i know - I think Chemo is dangerous - but until we find an alternative - its the only hope right now - but i'm still searching!

Just insure you get at least two opinions from differing oncologists. Again based on the staging, the best course of treatment may not even involve Chemo or Radiation. Find out what the pathology report said (assuming they've done a biopsy). If it's localized, a relatively simple lobectomy may able to eradicate any diseased tissue.
