+1, ALWAYS remove the label if you are going to do it, you would be surprised how many people do it. Never been searched and never ever seen at dog at my local airport on any flight back in, customs is always a ghost town, they know full fucking well that a few guys on each flight will try and carry a few grams home.

Very true. Is it worth their time and energy busting someone for less than half an ounce or a couple of muffins? Chances are it will be snatched and a caution issued. With the amount of home grown weed on the streets it makes no difference whatsoever. If you were trying to import a few Ks of hash or Class A then it is another matter. Uncle Ron got it right. Dress, act and look like a stoner then your chances of success decrease. Spend the last day toking your nuts off and believe me you will smell like a bag of skunk on the aeroplane and when walking through customs. It aint a problem if you are not carrying anything but if you are then shower, change, dress well.

some guy i know smuggled 3 muffins to canada.
He had 6 , ate a few at the airport ..

he just put m in Albert Heijn "Chocolade Muffin" packages ,
with the sticker still on it , and sealed with a small piece of scotchtape

Not so sure about "looking" like a stoner... We used to go quite regular a few years back... I usually went with my band at the time and we were all scruffy, long haired, obvious stoners with red eyes and a very shifty look... Never got searched once! I think it may be a sort of double bluff thingy, but if i was a customs officer, i'd tend to go for the smart people travelling solo!

Wouldn't do it myself of course....... but lets be honest, it has always went on, and will continue to go on.....

we came back to belfast airport.... my friend had a bunch of hash and mdma in his CD sleeve... (he totally forgot about it).... they didn't check ANYTHING.

Not worth the risk, in my opinion. Even if there is less than a 1% chance of getting caught with something, I would not take the chance. I always munch the cakes at the airport and then through security.

Those of you who're under the illusion flights are not being monitored by Customs, etc are sadly very much mistaken.

Yes the vast majority of flights won't attract much attention but I've seen Customs and Immigration, together with 2-3 dogs, stop everybody off Amsterdam flights as soon as they exit the jetty from the aircraft. No escaping them. And they're sometimes watching from places you wouldn't even think of. BTW I work at one of the UK's major airports hence how I know - for an airline not customs.

Indeed I was lucky, this was when I was stupid and uneducated!

Please don't do it, even though my post seemed strangely supportive of it. It could end you up on a no-fly list, try explaining that to your family/kids when you get turned away from disneyland.
