Where sells the best cakes?

Post by Haggdogg »

I will be going over to the Dam in April with a couple of friends. One of which cannot smoke due to health reasons. He does however still like a hash cake. So would like to know where sells the best cakes and muffins? Any help would be much appreciated.

The best IMHO is from Paradox.

The cakes at Paradox may be #1, but I'd have to say that the cakes at Utopia come in a very close second. For a milder journey, the cakes from Tweede Kamer, Homegrown Fantasy, or Dampkring will do the job!

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

You could always try 1/2 gram of your favorite hash, ground as fine as you can, and a tub of AH full fat yogurt. Mix well, Enjoy. Be sure to use full fat, THC is soluble in fat. Same trick with milkshakes, dairy fat. Amnesia used to do an excellent hash milkshake. You could buy a shake ( yummy anyway ) and add your own hash. I often make the yogurt mix in the evening and let it steep until morning for a wake and bake. You could cheat and buy some unpressed hash ( Grey Crystal comes to mind ), cut out the grinding job.

Enjoy

A little something different... My opinion, the best (non-space) cakes in all of Amsterdam.
The Taart van m'n Tante... http://www.detaart.com/en/konditorei.htm
A quaint coffee and cake shop across from the Marie Heinekenplein.
Not difficult to spot from a distance - they fly the rainbow flag.

Used to eat the cake at HGF regularly till I discovered Paradox. The difference was the difference between eating non space cake and space cake. Not for the beginner

For me cake is a forbidden pleasure as I'm lactose intolerant. Always looking for an edible I can eat and does not contain butter, milk, cream or cheese but lots of hash/weed.

At home I just mix ground up bud with my scrambled eggs but away from home it is harder.

Yuck, ground bud in food? I suppose whatever works. I would suggest making/using tincture.
There's been mention of a certain edible in the forum - Caramels. Think outside the box...
BTW, traveling with tincture is fairly simple... just apply a little imagination in preparation and packaging.

I prefer Paradox cakes for their power and taste I can barely taste the green a sure sign of some good quality cannabutter being used in their recipe.
I prefer cannabutter to make edibles but some good infused oil can also be nice and is what I use in brownies.

Adding the right amount of ground bud to scrambled eggs enhances the flavor no end. The Khmer use weed for cooking extensively. The bud adds a slightly sweet nice taste to the eggs. If you want an idea of the taste go to you tube and look for the old Richard Pryor movie where he accidentlly puts his stash in the soup for the dinner party.

I add ground bud to many different soup and stew type dishes. The effects are genersally very beneficial. Would recommend it for chilli too.

Caramels = lots of lactose.
