Some are at http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/CoffeeshopMenus.htm but they can only go up when people send them in

I "liked" the site on Facebook and they appear on my wall occasionally.
If there's 1 in particular you want to see, go to the review thread for that site and ask if anyone can take a picture. The locals are usually pretty cool about arranging it for you.

Menu's get updated when lazy stoners can be bothered to.....
a) visit shop
b) take picture
c) take picture you can see
d) upload pictures to FBN via email
It's not a perfect system!
How much did you produce?

I don't know why more CS's aren't on sites like this. If it was my business I'd have regular updates and promotions advertised. This site is a potential goldmine. Just ask the guys at Voyagers!

That is why it is so hard to get a menu picture at some places like Bluebird or Spirit both come to mind.sensismiler wrote:Apollo wrote:I don't know why more CS's aren't on sites like this. Oh yeah, that makes sense.

Re: new menu's 2013?
It is a fact that shops can not advertise.
This does not mean that I can't post vacation pictures that folks send me.
I always get at least a few when I am in town.
Now comes the whine.
The etiquette of taking pictures in coffeeshops.
Especially menus.
*************** ALWAYS ASK FIRST **************
Most shops will let you take pix to your hearts content, a few don't
even care about videos.
ALWAYS ask first. It's always at the option of the bud tender, so if
one won't let you, go back on another shift and that one might let you.
Be persistant.
Generally, try to keep people out of the background. Some folks don't
want it known that they frequent Amsterdam coffeeshops, I do and I'm
proud but I'm not everybody. Menu pix are short range and don't have
much if any background.
Almost as an afterthought but of primary importance.
Remember, really stoned people don't like flashes of bright light
and most of the folks there are pretty stoned.
Don't use your flash if at all possible. Most digital cameras
will work in pretty low light and software can lighten it up later.
Often the bud tender will move a menu to better light or let you
take it to better light, say to a window with light streaming in.
And email them to CoffeeshopMenus@gmail.com . Be sure to mention
how you want it credited. I will post them and credit you or whomever
you designate.
So come on folks, get menu pictures. It isn't very hard to do. Doesn't take very long.
Send whatever you can get, I can work some digital magic to make them more readable.
There are lots of people looking at whatever I get and post. ( 3,000,000 hits a month the last three months )
Enjoy

I always take some menu pictures. The only time it was refused was by James at Basjoe. He knew me but he didn't want me to take a picture. But that are the rules, ask first.
You have to remember the shop later, that's sometimes very difficult. Make notes!
Take pictures and become a Superstar, 1%er or just great helpful guy
